The Magic Dancer is a very nice looking vibrator, however, it just didn't work for my anatomy. Keep the measurements in mind when ordering this, and if they seem good then it should work for you. The vibrations are very strong and the noise level is not very loud at all. It is pink in color and is very pleasing to the eye. Overall, I think this is a great vibrator, for the right person. Unfortunately, I wasn't one of those people.

Pros
Nice looking, strong vibrations, ergonomic handle
Cons
Attracts lint, buzz-like vibrations, battery compartment is annoying
The Magic Dancer from California Exotics is a rabbit style vibrator which is designed to stimulate both internally and externally. The main shaft of this toy is curved upward which is designed to stimulate the g-spot. The clitoral attachment is non-animal shaped so those of you who don't like animal shapes will definitely like this. This toy is great for solo or couple play. It is also waterproof so it can be taken in the shower or bathtub for playtime. This toy is not travel friendly since it is larger in size and would be difficult to hide.
The Magic Dancer is made of TPR which has a safety rating of 7, which makes it a pretty safe material to use. The toy itself is pretty flexible an will move with your body. TPR is a rubber blend which has some drag to it and can be tacky or sticky. The Magic Dancer is no exception as it is a bit sticky, but some lubricant can fix that with no problem. This vibrator itself is very smooth in texture, but does have some drag because of the material. This texture does add extra stimulation as it rubs against the skin. The drag does feel very good. It has a bit of a chemical smell right out of the package, but once you allow it to air out it's not as noticeable. This material has no taste to it whatsoever. TPR is slightly porous so I would recommend using a condom if sharing this with a partner.
The Magic Dancer has a very nice shape to it, very similar to other rabbit vibrators. The handle is very ergonomic, and easy to hold in the hand. This vibrator is 8 1/2 inches long, 3 3/4 inches are insertable, the diameter is 1 inch, and the clitoral attachment is 1 1/2 inches. The size itself didn't work for me. I need a longer clitoral attachment, and a longer shaft is needed to make a rabbit work for me. The shaft has a slight curve to it to stimulate the g-spot, which is nice, just wasn't long enough for me. The clitoral attachment is just a nub with a point at the end of it to "tickle" the clitoris. There are no animal shapes on this vibrator at all. So for those of you who aren't a fan of the animals on rabbit vibrators this might be the one for you. Just keep in mind the measurements and your anatomy before ordering.
This toy is not easy to hide since it is pretty long and brightly colored. It is not travel friendly at all due to its size and the lack of locking features on the controls. Of course you could just remove the batteries if you wanted to travel with it but I still wouldn't recommend it due to its size.
The Magic Dancer is a pretty strong vibrator. It is controlled my a single round push button on the handle. There are two motors, one midway through the shaft, and the other in the clitoral attachment. Both motors are controlled by the single push button on the handle and cannot be used separately. The vibrations are very buzz-like and are felt throughout the toy, even in the handle. If this kind of vibration is bothersome to you then I would look elsewhere. They actually do make my hand numb when on the highest level of vibration. So that could be a deciding factor for some people. It is not loud at all, it will not be heard through a closed door or through blankets.
There are three levels of vibration. When you turn the toy on it starts of on low, then goes to medium, and then high, then the last press turns it off. The battery compartment is actually a pain, but once you figure it out it isn't all that bad. There is a small triangle on the front of the silver ring that you line up with another triangle on the handle. You turn the handle to the left until the triangles line up and the handle will pop off. When putting it back on just line the triangles up again and turn all the way to the right until it clicks, then you know its closed. There is a small O-ring on the battery compartment so this toy is waterproof. I did test it in the sink and no water got in at all so play in the water all you want with this. This takes 2 AA batteries and does last a long time on those batteries. I have run this toy a total of about 2 hours and it's still very strong and doesn't seem to be dying at all.
The Magic Dancer is made of TPR which can get sticky and will attract lint. It can be cleaned with a toy cleaner/wipe or soap and warm water. I would store this in its packaging or a plastic bag since it attracts a lot of lint, this will avoid some of that. This material can be used with silicone or water based lubricants. Oil based is not safe to use because it will break down the material. It will damage other materials so store this separately from your other toys.
Easy to clean
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it2 months after original review
I still can't use this at all...so it sits under my bed in its packaging. Maybe one day I will find a use for it...for now it's an under bed decoration.
