Cyclone sex toy review
The Cyclone is a bit hefty in its proportions, so this is one toy I tried out with my husband. He started with just the vibration mode, using it externally, and slowly worked it into me until the tip was resting on my cervix. Then he activated the rotating pearls. My immediate reaction was a whole-hearted "WOAH!"
Published:
Upon first examination, the Cyclone vibrator looks very much like many traditional vibes. It is a pinkish-purple color, with a realistic shape and textured veining on the shaft. It features six speeds and seven functions, from straight vibration to pulsation and escalation. It runs on 4 AA batteries, and the motor is quite powerful, making it an effective traditional vibe in its own right.
Where the Cyclone differs from other vibrators is in the rotating pearls. Unlike a lot of vibrators, the pearls are not positioned in the middle of the shaft to stimulate the vaginal opening. Rather, they are placed on the tip of the shaft for deeper internal stimulation. The tip consists of three rows of hefty metal beads that really make themselves felt.

Having the pearls on the tip of the vibrator provides an incredible amount of internal stimulation, and the stimulation continued to be effective as he worked the toy in and out of me. As a pleasant surprise, the combination of the rotating tip and the vibrations also make the Cyclone a very effective clitoral stimulator. Once we were done with the thrusting and penetration, I used the vibe externally and got off in no time.
One thing to note is that the Cyclone is NOT a squirmy-the shaft does not rotate. The shaft vibrates and pulsates, but the only rotation is in the beads at the tip. Still, it provides a very nice alternative to the rotating vibes for those who are looking for something a little different.

Follow-up commentary
7 months after original review
I've had my Cyclone vibe for several years now, and am pleased to report it is still holding up very well! True, it is made of jelly, but I wash all my toys carefully before and after use, and store them in breathable, absorbent cloth bags. Dorky as it may sound to make "dildo bags" (as my husband calls them), I believe the effort really is worthwhile and does make your toys last longer and stay in great shape! The rotating beads on the Cyclone are tracked, so they do not jam up like many rotating pearls. This is not necessarily a vibe to get you off hard and fast; but it is the perfect choice for long, deep orgasms. I really think this is one of the most underrated and unique toys in my collection, since it provides for slow and strong orgasms from clitoral stimulation, or extra-deep vaginal orgasms because of the rotating beads in the head.

Thank you so much! :)

As it's jelly and you've had it for a long time has it started to break down yet?
-
Actually, it's still holding up quite well. But then, I'm fortunate enough to be able to keep my toys in a long rotation...
-
Wow! Thats great that it still works, most of the vibes with a similar design break the beads quickly.
