Cupid, your arrow missed the mark with this one.
I am a lover of all things textured! I love the sensation, so I thought Cupid Ripple would be right up my va-alley. I meant alley! Instead of an amazing experience, I got weak vibrations, unpleasant penetration, and a frustrating experience.

Pros
Easily cleaned, waterproof, girthy
Cons
Weak vibrations, painful to use, too much for most beginners, not enough for advanced users.
I’m a fan of anything that has ripples, waves, ridges, or any kind of other texture. You can image my excitement when I saw this lovely vibrator available for purchase. Not only did the texture enthrall me but so did the versatility and girth. I just knew this was a purchase I wouldn’t regret! It turns out I was wrong.
Cupid is easily turned on with a push of a button that is located on the bottom of the vibe. With this button, you can also cycle through the 8 functions that are offered. I don’t think Cupid got the memo that quality is better than quantity because, although there are 8 functions to choose from, none of them are very powerful. All of the intensity is found in the middle of the shaft and is not well translated to the tip offering no satisfaction to the goods. Thankfully, it is very quiet though! No one is going to hear a single buzz when you use this behind a closed door.
Even with a lack of power, I’m not one to give up on a vibe with so much potential, so it was onto insertion! The total length of this vibe is 8”, with 6” of it being insertable. The shaft is not only rippled, but it is also graduated in width with the largest part being an amazing 5 ½”. Surely with so many ripples and the amount of girth offered, my lady bits would be appreciative of my purchase. Oh, how I long to be right for just once! The ripples made insertion not only painful, but almost impossible as well. My body has no issue making plenty of lubricant for these special occasions, but with Cupid I had to call in back up! This toy is made from TPR silicone, so be sure if you need to call in reinforcements, you use only water based lube. Even with the extra help, I had some issues. Eventually I was successful, but I found that moving it around was pretty unpleasant. The tip is not efficient for G-spot stimulation because it is rounded and has no curve to it. After a few minutes, I gave up on that as well. I still had a goal to reach, and I was persistent that Cupid was going to be the one to help me achieve it! I considered moving things to the shower since Cupid is waterproof, but I decided it may not be worth it. Finally, I found that the ripples feel pretty great on a clitoris and took that route.
Finally, sweet sweet success!
As previously mentioned, this toy is made from TPR silicone. This material is easily cleaned with antibacterial soap and warm water. I was slightly worried that the ripples would pose a threat to the ease of cleaning, but you guessed it wrong again! The vibe comes in a paper board case with two flaps that open in the back displaying information about the vibe. On the inside is a clamshell that is perfect for storing the vibe.
Cupid appeared to have so much potential, but overall it was a complete disappointment. This vibe isn’t strong enough for an advanced user, and the extreme texture and girth would probably prove too much for a beginner. I can’t believe there is no one out there that could not find love by way of Cupid Ripple, but I know that unfortunately that person is not me.

Even though it was a flop, I'm glad I got it. I learned a lesson about TOO MUCH texture.
