Could be better, but still awesome.
This item is worth the purchase if you don't want or have the funds to go out and buy an expensive sex machine. It's great for foreplay and solo play. And this toy just lets you do your thing the way you want to however long you want to, it's literally the toy that is meant to be the whole package you just have to work around a trick or two with the front stimulator.

Pros
Vibrating dildo, cheaper alternative to a sex machine, and great ride while giving oral
Cons
Clit stimulator too large and hard
To start off this is a good substitution to a sex machine in the sense that not everyone can afford a 200-300 dollar toy and if you are curious as to what it might feel like minus the thrusting portion. This toy is supposed to be the universal toy to be used in all various positions that include you straddling this thing so it can be used while sitting on a chair or sofa if you want to be comfy, on the floor or on a bed, whatever you can come up with. It's great for a teaser or pure solo play and use while giving oral. It's a fairly large toy but that's to be expected for its purpose. The control buttons are conveniently placed on the front of the toy so they are easily accessed during use.
It comes in a pretty pink color, granted I am not huge on the color pink but for this I don't mind it. And it takes 4 AA batteries -- which for this size of a toy I would expect it to at least take C batteries, but that's only easier on me because all my toys take either AAA or AA so they are always readily available. Now another thing is this toy is in no way discreet and probably isn't truly travel friendly unless you don't care if airport workers see it in your luggage if they ever have to go through it. Me personally -- the only way I would take this thing on a trip with me is if it was where we were doing a road trip kind of thing but it would take up quite a bit of space in the suitcase. I would suggest using water based lubes with this toy mainly because I just don't think the use of silicone based lubes would be safe and it would be much harder to clean off this toy. And speaking of cleaning, I mainly used toy wipes and toy cleaning on this toy and it's seemed to be the best thing for me to use but simple mild soap and water would work as well.
The body of the iRide is a hard plastic on the bottom and up the toy to form the bottom base of the toy and the part you straddle is TPR which has a safety of 7 out of 10 on here. Which is in my opinion a pretty good choice as it is hypoallergenic and all that jazz. I often order toys of this material. I rated this at 4 vrooms and 2 bees because honestly it didn't seem all that loud to me, yes I could see it being heard through a door but if you just played some music in the background on a medium or lower medium volume that would solve that issue.

Experience
I love this toy but I think the nub that is supposed to be for clit stimulation is poorly planned on Doc Johnson's part. It can be very hard and uncomfortable and the variations in the speed is very weird, it starts off soft then goes a little bit more for the second setting but not much noticeably different and the third and final setting is like a tidal wave of speed all at once so you go from a 2-3-10 in a matter of pushing a button. So its size makes it very hard to hit just that right spot because of its largeness. So I figured out I just needed to lean back a little when riding it and stick a bullet down next to it while leaving it on the second speed setting so I still got that stimulation which is no big deal because the vibrating dildo part is entirely worth that little hassle.
Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
Alright, so I have had a chance to try this thing out a little bit more and find myself just randomly sitting on the couch watching TV or a movie with my mind straying to my iRide. There have been many times I've just been sitting at home and randomly told my husband "I want to go use the iRide"... of course full play time usually happens after this. And I have figured out the best way to position myself so the nub on the front for the clit stimulation doesn't bother me anymore. As well, I have figured out the bed straddling positions and everything, so it is possible to do the rocking motions to help hit my G-spot just right and achieve multiple orgasms. I do not, and never will, regret purchasing my iRide. It's one of the most expensive toys I've bought but it's well worth the money. So my advice to anyone who buys this is that, just like with any new toy, you just have to give it time to really get to know yourself while using this toy and give it time to fully discover what a toy can do pleasuring wise for your body. I still think this could be up there as one of the most powerful toys I own, especially for only requiring 4 AA batteries.
