The LUXE Euphoria by Cal Exotics is a multi-function, waterproof vibrator meant for external clitoral stimulation. The shape and size allow for easy handling and the controls are simple enough for even beginners. It can be used alone, during intercourse, or to tease your partner.

This toy, I think, is best suited for the extremely sensitive gal, a guy who wants a little extra stimulation, or beginners. The multiple functions and user friendly size allow for a simple way to test out different kinds of stimulation at different speeds while being super versatile.

Being that it isn't very strong, I don't recommend this for those who are looking for a deep, earth shaking orgasm. I find this one best for foreplay, unless you don't mind a ton of work and extra manual stimulation to get you there.

The materials listed are plastic, PU coated plastic and silicone. The only part that will have direct contact with anything other than your hand is made of silicone while the plastics are used on the base. The material safety is rated a 7 with it being made of food safe material, and is hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous and phthalates free. Even the packaging boasts that is is completely body safe.

The material of the head is a firm, yet squishy silicone. I don't mean squishy like a masturbator sleeve, or a realistic dildo. This fella is super firm, but if you tug and pull on it, it does give a bit but not much. There is a very silky, powdery feel to the entire body aside from a small silver plastic strip under the head and about half way down. The buttons have a plastic covering and the bottom is, from my best guess, the PU coated plastic.

The silky smooth finish and PU plastic are personally my favorite. They are super easy to clean, last forever and feel really luxurious. I think using the right amount of lube makes the silicone very pleasurable as there is a slight drag to it, but enough to make it more pleasurable when combined with pressure. Oh, and there isn't any gross smell or taste to this material either!

The silver part in the middle does flake. Mine came missing a piece of the silver and it looks like it is black underneath. This toy is meant only for external, so it isn't such a big deal as far as health goes, but still annoying.

The top, or "head" as I keep calling it, is really just that - a head. There is a pointed beak type point that rounds off and down into a "neck" on the bottom and a rounded "head" on the top. There is a very harsh line between where the beak and head meet. From there it meets a silver band that goes around the toy and then widens again for easy handling. There is another tip at the bottom, and although I doubt it was purposely put there for use, I've found that the vibrations tend to stay in the base, therefor making that little tip at the bottom perfect. Use caution though, because the battery cover is part of that tip causing two issues- MAJOR seams and possible damage due to lubes and fluids getting into the battery compartment.

This thing is pretty bulky and a lot bigger than I expected. The size, I'm sure, is meant for beginners and ease of use, but I personally think that it's just awkward. The total length is 5", with a circumference of the same. The diameter is 1 1/2" and it weighs 3.4 ounces before batteries.





I'm guessing that the "beak" is meant to be the focal point, being used for direct clitoral stimulation. But, as always, I was a rebel. You can use the back of the head for massaging the area or contort yourself and the toy so that your clit fits in the dip between the nose and head, so that there are multiple spots being targeted at once. And again, there is the tail at the bottom that can be used with caution.





The packaging is actually pretty discreet, and CUTE, if not for the company name! Doh! All it says is that it is a 7 function, body safe massager. Innocent enough, right? Well the name Cal Exotics is front and center, so any innocence has been diminished almost instantly. I still think that this could make a good gift just because it's so cute and versatile. As for traveling, well... the dolphin shape is pretty well known for clitoral vibrators along with butterflies, bunnies and probably a million more of mother nature's most adorable creations. As long as you pack this away, it would be perfect for travel.

The control pad is just under the silver band, right about the middle of the toy. It is a white plastic vertical pad with two buttons. The top button is the function button and can be used to cycle through the 7 different settings. The bottom is the power button and one push starts the vibrations on the lowest setting and lights up the control pad a bright red that syncs with the vibration speed and pattern.

The patterns are as follows:
One click (power on)- Low vibration
Two clicks- Medium vibration
Three clicks- Highest vibraton
Four clicks- Escalation
Five clicks- Fast pulsating
Six clicks- REALLY fast pulsating
Seven clicks- This one reminds me of a phone on vibrate. There are about 5 pulses and then a short steady vibe.





What I really like about this control pad is that once you get to seven, you just cycle back through instead of having to turn it off and back on. I seriously cycled through for so long before I realized I had already gone through them all already.

The controls aren't that convenient to use. Since the two buttons are under one cover with no distinguished boundaries of their own aside from the printed circles and slight raising, it is very hard to A) find them at all without looking and B) press the right one. I pushed the off button on myself multiple times and got frustrated as I blindly pressed along the length of the base searching for the buttons.

The vibration is very loud and stays pretty much isolated in the handle, meaning that it doesn't get much quieter when you press it to your body. Make sure to use this is an area that is closed off and have some back ground noise running. Obviously don't use this when you have company, unless that's the reason you have them over ;)

As far as the waterproof claims on the website, I couldn't find anything on the packaging stating that it was waterproof, and the battery door doesn't sit flush so I decided not to try it. **Ok, I lied. As I was uploading my picture I saw the silly waterproof logo on the bottom of the packaging on the back side. I still wouldn't try this one in the water, as it doesn't seem to be sealed off well.**





Two AAA batteries are required for use and are not included. From what I can tell so far, it lasts pretty long without any problems. I can't imagine that the useless red light help with the battery life at all, though.

The silicone makes for super easy clean up- just use soap and water and store in a bag because it does tend to pick up stuff and also scratches and scuffs easily.

Since this guy is versatile and can be used on both men and women, make sure to use a hygienic cover or condom when changing between different areas of stimulation on multiple users.

I always use a water-based spray lube when I use toys just to be on the safe side and keep them lasting longer. Eden sells a good one called Toy Lube by Evolved Novelties.

I didn't personally like this toy. It isn't that it wasn't fun to play with, but the fact that fun was all I could get from it. After changing the position and vibration patterns a hundred times, I thought I might be close to feeling some sort of half pleasurable, half numbed orgasm brewing.
