Chocolates egg and controller sex toy review
The Chocolate Vibrating Egg and Controller carries strong vibes. It's is well-built and attractive. Unfortunately it can also be quite loud.
Published:
Pros
Remote, long cord, multiple settings, pleasing to the eye, strong vibes.
Cons
Loud, not much variety in vibration settings.
The Chocolate Vibrating Egg|Chocolates egg and controller was my first romp with a vibrating egg. Overall, I was quite pleased, but my pleasure wasn’t without its qualifications.
This one is has a lovely shiny finish, with the egg attached to a remote by a long wire. I really like this setup: once I had the egg where I wanted it, my hands were left free to attend to other areas. The wire was a good length too (a disclaimer: I used it solo, so I don’t know if it would be sufficient for couple-play). I tried using the egg on multiple parts of my body, but I liked it best on my clit – it didn’t do much for me in other places.
The remote is a good size. I’ve tried a few vibrators with multiple speed settings and have often experienced problems with the speed changing or the vibe turning off completely. Not so with the chocolate! The vibrations stay where you want them to – a big plus for me. Based on the other models of vibrating eggs I’ve looked at, I’d say that this egg is on the larger side. The vibrations therefore aren’t concentrated only on the clit – they also diffuse throughout the vaginal lips (and thighs, if you’re positioned that way). Personally, I liked this sensation – it gave me a little something extra. The downside of the larger egg is that positioning it can take some getting used to, but I wouldn’t consider that a real drawback.
The vibrations themselves are pretty strong, although the upper speeds don’t vary that much. The first setting is low, but the rest are quite strong. I found it hard to differentiate between the top two settings. The vibration intensities seemed the same – the only change seemed to be in sound.
Which brings me to my major complaint about the chocolate. It’s loud. When I first got the toy, I lived in a house several roommates – and very thin walls. I am fairly certain my roommates could hear me test driving it. If you live in a place where sound isn’t an issue, than I would highly recommend the Chocolate Vibrating Egg. Those concerned with noise, however, should consider the sound factor. When I knew I had the place to myself, I quite enjoyed myself with it. When I was aware of the possibility of being heard, not so much. In the end, despite its other pluses, the noise proved too big of a distraction. I won’t really use the chocolate regularly, due to my living situation, but I will continue to enjoy it when I get my alone time.

Thank you for viewing Chocolates egg and controller – egg discontinued review page!
I never had a problem with cleaning the seam in the middle (I used cleaner and hot water - because of the wire setup I didn't want to boil this one. And no, no wear on the finish (yet). It's proved pretty durable, but then, I'm not using it all that regularly (due to issues with the noise).
