Can Liv With You, My Luv!
All in all, regardless of not having the strongest vibration levels, I wouldn't change a thing about Liv and definitely recommend her for anyone who doesn't need the most intense vibrations money can buy.
Published:
Pros
Quality made, silky smooth, controls, accommodating shape, deep vibrations
Cons
Could use a little more power
Liv is my first Lelo toy and she is just as beautiful, quality made, and built to perfection (for my anatomy at least) as I thought she would be.
Upon opening it up, I immediately noticed how small she is; more than I had thought, but trust me, surprisingly this toy doesn't lack in "fullness", size, and function. Not like you might think it would just looking at it.
At 7 inches in length with 4 1/2" inches in insertable length, and 1 1/8" inches in diameter, she's hardly intimidating. But weighing in at 1 lb. for her small size, she feels as thuddy & quality made as her vibrations.
I'd say Liv would be good for someone who prefers their toys on the smaller size, but it is surprisingly filling. With its soft, silky silicone and shaft designed for the g-spot, though not too curved or large, it has the perfect amount of drag and is good for thrusting.
It is pretty discreet in size and sound, so I would recommend for pretty much anyone. At its higher levels it may be heard through a comforter, but not through a closed door, so she pretty much passes the discretion test on all fronts.
The Liv contains up to 10 different levels of very deep, bassy vibrations and 5 different vibration modes which are as follows; #1 is a continuous vibration, #2 is an extended interval pulsation, #3 is an intermediate interval pulsation, #4 is a short interval pulsation, and lastly, #5 is a wave pulsation pattern. It's definitely lots of fun to go through all the motions and wonderful for teasing!
The locking feature is wonderful as well. Holding down all four buttons at once (by pressing down on the center of the control pad) for about 5 seconds will put it in lock mode as the same goes for unlocking. Her fancy, circular, white light will flash to let you know when it is either locked or unlocked. Now, if you've ever had a vibrator go off at the wrong time as I have before, you'll definitely praise this feature like I do, along with the fact that its rechargeable.
If the battery is low, the white LED indicator light around the control pad will glow red to let you know it needs charging. It takes around 2 hours to fully charge at which point it will emit a steady glow of white light. You'll know if it's not fully charged because the light will blink until its up to full battery power again.
The manual clearly states not to charge it for more than 24 hours, and never use a silicone-based lubricant with silicone toys. It could destroy the material and that beautiful toy you just paid that pretty penny for will never be the same again. I would go with a water-based lube as they are best compatible with all toys.
Though silicone is not porous and can be sterilized by being boiled or thrown in the dishwater, unfortunately, you will not be able to do either with the Liv because it is not waterproof. To clean it, I've been using Climax Bursts toy cleaner but you could use a damp clothe with warm water and a gentle soap if you have none on hand.
Her classy satin pouch is just perfect for discreet storage and though a very stiff toy with no flexibility whatsoever, the silicone is so velvety soft, you won't be able to stop playing with it just sitting in your hand.
There is one little downfall to this toy and that is that regardless of its various levels of vibration, they could definitely be a little stronger and pack a bit more of a punch. I was quite surprised when she was in use and I went to turn up the vibration level yet realized she could go no further. However, regardless of the minor lack of serious power, the vibrations are really wonderful and deep and definitely get the job done. They do feel really great, but they definitely could be a bit stronger. I'm also not too big on it for clitoral stimulation as I am for g-spot stimulation.
Supposedly her sister vibe, the Lelo Elise, packs a punch that is 50% more powerful, though significantly larger yet with the same shape. Therefore, if you can handle em' or like em' on the bigger side and require stronger and more powerful vibrations, it may be worth looking into. I'm still very happy with my Liv for now.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
I still wish Liv had a little more power, but I still love it and use it now and then when I want a rumbly G-spot orgasm, though, that is easier for me with a more flexible toy, which Liv is not, but she still does the trick and works great.
Apparently, she's not as quiet as I had originally thought because she seems to have woken up other people in the house a few times as well. She's so rumbly. If only some of that rumble could be converted into actual power.
