I'm glad this was a free gift because knowing what it's like now it just isn't worth the money. I'm not totally unhappy with it and glad to try a new experience. In its own small way it has provided me with even a little pleasure I was unable to enjoy from much pricier toys, believe it or not.
As a result I'm rating it at two stars, I was after all able to get some good vibes from it.

Shaft too thin and pliable Noisy Hard to hold and I hate to work at fun
The Original Butterfly Kiss is best used in my opinion as a warmer-upper, a prelude to the main event. While the shaft is quite slim and pliable, the vibration of the butterfly itself provides some real nice tingles. The shaft also works well, better in fact on other sensitive portions of my body and while I suppose it could be used in couples play, the noise level at the high level might be a mood killer.
Unfortunately I’ve never been able to stimulate my G-Spot (still searching) and until I became a member of EF thought someone had made it up.
While this product says it is designed for G-Spot stimulation I don’t see how enough pressure can be applied to the shaft to make any difference because it bends so easy.
According to the Manufacturer's page The Original Butterfly is made with TPR and is Hypo-allergenic, Latex and Phthalates free. I did not have a reaction to the material, but I'm not allergic to much anyway. I find the shaft quite small and too pliable, very easy to wiggle with a slight movement of my index finger.
According to EF Guide to Materials regarding TPR:
TPR has an excellent flexural fatigue resistance and high impact strength. It starts out soft and has product added to make them harder. This type of material is ideal for manufacturing a variety of textures.
Material Safety Rating currently at 7
TPR is less porous than cyberskin but more porous than silicone, so it is recommend using condoms when sharing.
The Original Butterfly can use both silicone or water based lubes.
I’ve used the JO H2O Personal Lubricant and the TOKO Organica Formula made with pure vegetable glycerin both of which are one of the top 100 Water based lubricants rated on EF with 4 out of 5 stars.
Again, the shaft is too thin for my taste but the overall design is cute. Being cute however doesn't sell me on it. In theory having more than rabbit ears or a slug like device seems appealing but I have to position it just so and spread my lips for it to hit home base, so to speak. Because the shaft is so pliable I found it to be a good stimulator for my clitoris as well as the butterfly, especially since I can barely feel it inside me.
The Original Butterfly is 7 1/4" tall ( from base to tip of shaft) 1 1/4" at it's widest point under the butterfly. The plastic untwistable handle is easily removed to load 2 AAA batteries within also containing a combination button for on/off and one of three vibrating speeds.
The size is close to that of the Jopen Vr6.5 and Freestyle G-Spot vibrators as shown in the picture provided.
The vibrating speeds are simple, low, medium and high. Low provides minimal vibration to the shaft, medium to both the shaft and a little to the vibrator and high to both with greater intensity and noise. The first two speeds are relatively quieter then the third one? Let's just say I wouldn't use this in college with a roommate or with company in another room, it would be too evident.
The only control is at the base of the handle which is a button covered by a film of TPR. It serves as a dual purpose control to turn on/off and vibration inensity of low, med or high.
According to EF Guide to Materials regarding TPR:
TPR toys cannot be disinfected with boiling water. You can wash them with warm water and toy cleaner or mild soap.
I use Eden Fantasy Wipes, they're my favorite anyway and a touch of cleansing spray before I reuse it, just to be sure it is clean in the hard to reach places of the butterfly crevices itself.
The Butterfly Kiss comes in a clear cellophane wrapper approximately 11" x 5 1/2". On the plastic wrapper, are the words Eden Fantasys, Butterfly Kiss and Item #. No, I wouldn't say this is discreet at all. There is also no instructions or documentation included though this is so simple you don't need any.
While the butterfly and mini rabbit ears do provide pleasure, I found that holding the base where there are little bumps between the two wings provides a more intense vibration. This textured area provides its own stimulation and doesn't over-sensitize me as the wings and ears do. I'm half tempted to trip the ears and butterfly wings down.
In my own personal opinion, I would never share my toys except my life partner and husband (not to mention I don’t know anyone else to share it with).
My first use of this stimulator was a positive one as all the times I've used it since. While disappointed in the shafts vibration it does work well on external parts of the body stimulating those very sensitive more erotic areas.
At play time I always prepare ahead of time to have what I will use for my fun time just as you would prepare to do anything else in your life. I make sure to keep my main event toy close at hand because once this revs me up I want to switch smoothly to my orgasm toy of choice.
Follow-up commentaryI don't like it anymore2 months after original review
Sorry, but this just really doesn't do it for me. The shaft is too small and pliable for any sort pressure placed on it. I'm glad it was a free gift.
