Best purchase I've had so far!

This toy is perfect for anyone, especially beginners. It provides powerful vibrations with very little noise accompanying it. It's easy to clean and can withstand some water abuse! This lasts a considerably long time with heavy use, even longer for the every-so-often user. My partner and I absolutely love this toy and will always add it to the list when we're shopping for new playthings.

Use

I first bought this toy two years ago, it was affordable and adjustable! It went through heavy use, and I mean HEAVY use. Once it died (about a year later) I replaced it with another one, same version. It's perfect for those who don't want a lot of noise with a powerful vibration. Its design is mainly meant to stimulate various areas inside the vagina and outside (the clitoris), but it feels great rubbing against just about anywhere! I've had multiple orgasms from this toy, it is honestly amazing.

It's a great prelude to fun with your partner, or by yourself on a relaxing day. I plan on buying another one soon, and I know it will perform the way I love it to! This is a keeper in the bottom drawer.

Material / Texture

I, myself, love smooth and soft toys with a little bit of rigidity and not too much extra texture. The Dolphin delivers with a flexible, but stable, shaft and just enough bumps and ridges to create a gorgeous feeling when inserted. It is easy to wash and smell was never an issue. It tastes as good as it smells - clean and fresh. Don't be afraid to slip this little Dolphin inside your mouth and give it a nibble, it won't bite!

Design / Shape / Size

It is a mini, so don't expect much in the way of girth and length, but it makes up for it with a straight-to-the-point tip that rubs against the G-spot as rapidly or slowly as you desire. If you're a beginner, this is the perfect start to some of the more intimidating choices! It's a gateway toy in a sense! It's very discreet, and it fits pretty much anywhere. I've had no problems traveling with it at all; I repeat myself - it's the perfect toy!

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Dolphin comes with 6 speed options: 3 for bead/shaft rotation, 3 for shaft vibration. They're easily reachable during use, and don't mess up if there's a little splash (or a BIG splash). The vibration is quiet, but oh it is powerful! I usually don't have to use the rotation, but if I do, it's on the first setting because the vibrations already do the trick! In fact, the vibrations are so hard that they are what makes the little clitoral-stimulating dolphin vibrate. So even when it's low on batteries, a full session with just the vibrations is still a great evening. It says waterproof, which it is to an extent, but I don't recommend shoving it under 12 inches of water for a prolonged period of time. If, by chance, water does get into the shaft, it can cause problems with the rotation and make it a bit more difficult for those of you who LOVE rotating shafts.

Care and Maintenance

The Dolphin is also super easy to clean - soap and water does the trick! Just make sure the battery compartment is tightly closed because no matter how waterproof something is, messing up the batteries will probably ruin it. My only problem was that the compartment would crack in the middle and eventually break. It happened with both my first and second Dolphins.

Like I said before, the Dolphin can pretty much be hidden anywhere. But if you plan on putting it under something fluffy you might want to wash it off before use, as lint and stray hairs get easily stuck to the soft surface.

Packaging

The package comes in a plastic casing, so it's a lot of work to get open without paper cutters or some scissors. There aren't any instructions, but it's pretty straightforward. You won't be able to use the box as a toy holster, but it's so easy to put away that you won't be that perturbed about it.

Experience

This is the first toy I ever used and it is one of the best toys I have used since! My partner and I were long distance for a long time and boy, this toy was the perfect filler for what I couldn't get from him. But when he visited me the Dolphin didn't get thrown to the side at all, it was added to our sexual conduct, so to speak. He loves using it on me, or watching me use it. I'm a squirter and this toy can definitely handle it!

    Congratulations on a fabulous first review!! You made me think about getting this and I already have a lot of rabbits, lol!

    I have one question that you may be able to answer...were the vibrations more buzzy (surface vibes that don't penetrate as much); were they rumbly (a more penetrating rumble like a cat purring instead of a bee buzzing); a combination of both (though not usual, sometimes a vibe has buzzy vibes on some setting and rumbly on others or the shaft rumbles and the clit arm is buzzy)? I realize as a first time reviewer, you may not be familiar with that terminology, so please don't feel like I am pointing out something the review lacks, because it's a damn good review. I am truly thinking about getting this now and I only like rumbly vibes, so that's why I asked!
