The Luxe Renew by California Exotics is a multi-speed, multi-functioning massager. The more things from California Exotics that I get, the bigger a fan I am becoming. It reminds me of a small handgun...that brings pleasure instead of pain. I was a little leery as to how good it would be with its strange shape, but once again I was pleasantly surprised.

When first opened it had a slight smell that resembled nail polish, but once it was washed that faded. It is made of TPR that is Latex-free, Phthalates-free, and Hypo-allergenic. The texture is smooth and suitable for most users, more advanced and beginners alike.

The design of this vibrator is pretty awesome once you use it. It is shaped kind of like a small gun, at least that's the first impression that I had. It is 5" long with an insertable length of 2 1/2" and is 1 1/2" in diameter. I wasn't really sure of just how this could work out good, but when you use the hole to put either your trigger finger in or your thumb (depending on which position you like better) it really makes it very easy to control and localize vibrations. A lot of times I have found with vibes that it is sometimes a little tricky to get it in the right spot but not with the Luxe.

I love the variety in the functions in this vibe. It is operated with 2-N batteries that are included. It is push-button controlled by a button that is located at the top of the finger grip. It is water-proof and has 7 different settings. The settings include a 3 vibrations that increase in intensity, 3 pulses that increase in intensity and one pulse that is a short, short, long pulse. Depending on what your mood is the Luxe pretty much has it covered. It is very quiet for the intensity that it offers. On the strongest vibe and the strongest pulse you can't hear it at all just by stepping out of the room with it on the table and the doors open. I love this as I have very nosy kids that come looking for any strange sounds.

I clean mine with warm soapy water. Remove batteries before cleaning and storage to avoid damage. I would suggest a water based lube unless you do a spot test with a different kind to be safe. It comes in a plastic envelope type box that I continue to use for storage.
