Baby Fairy Wand- small size with a kick.
I think the fairy baby wand works well for what it is designed to do. Inexpensive, it'd make for a great gag gift. When placed just right it does provide decent clitoral stimulation. Because of how small it is, positioning/grip is an issue, and it is so loud! However, if you live alone or no one is home, this toy can be used to provide a pretty wild play session.

Pros
Cute, no batteries, strong vibrations
Cons
Loud, inflexible
The Baby Fairy is an aptly named toy, as this mini wand is only about 2" long. It is a member of the Fairy Wand toy family made by Media Craft. This was my first experience with wands in general, let alone from the Fairy Wand line. I found the toy to be cute, easy to use, and felt that it executed its function really well.
This toy has a simple on off switch that is hard to trigger during play. There's just the one mode, with no variation in the vibration speed, intensity or pattern during use. The the little ridges near the head of the toy gives off the impression that it's flexible, but it isn't. Let me say again: do NOT bend the head of the baby fairy.
The toy can be used for clitoral stimulation or nipple teasing. The vibrations are high pitched and buzzy, more of a tickle at first. With a little persistence, the toy can provide a sensation that leaves me shaking.
It doesn't give off a smell, and a quick wipe down with a warm soapy wash-cloth was the best way I could think of to clean it off. The toy is most definitely NOT waterproof, especially with the USB port. So it's not suitable for tub or shower play.
One of the more endearing features of the toy is that it takes no batteries. Just a quick plug in to the USB port of your computer (or a usb wall adapter) and you're all set for more Baby Fairy wand use. It only takes about an hour to charge, and how long the charge last will vary depending on use. You can tell when the internal charge is running down as the vibrations become duller and the toy becomes quieter. I've never completely run the charge right down, but I generally get about two hours total before I notice a difference in the toys performance.
When I got the toy, i couldn't help but giggle at the packaging. Everything was written in Japanese, but there were picture instructions on how to charge it. It's a simple plastic package, easily opened and could be used to store the wand.
Storage. The toy is so small, simply throwing it in a drawer may not be the best option. If I had opened my package correctly I would store it in that, but in my haste I went to town and destroyed the packaging. Now I have the wand stored in a little plastic baggie in my toy box.
Another endearing feature of the Baby Fairy is how easily it travels. Stick it in your pocket, your purse, on your key chain and it's ready to travel.
I haven't tried the toy with lube, but I can't really see the need for it. The toy is made of plastic, so it is compatible with all water, oil and silicone based lubes.

Experience
The Baby Fairy is a toy that packs a punch, but mine drained the battery reserve fairly quickly. I could notice the vibrations getting weaker and weaker until they were nearly non-existent. I did enjoy the stimulation it gave me, and on more than one occasion it became almost too powerful. There's no build up in the vibrations, the super powerful strength is the only one you get, so I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who has an overly sensitive clit.
Follow-up commentary
4 months after original review
I haven't even pulled the Fairy Baby out of my toy box in months. Other toys that are more quiet and easier to manipulate without the worry of accidentally bending the head and breaking it have come into my possession, and the Fairy Baby's just fallen to the bottom.
If I'm honest, it's always been more of a novelty item to me than anything. The idea was cute; I mean, who wouldn't want an itty bitty wand?! In practice though, it just didn't work as an actual toy for me.
A cute gag gift, but not as a serious purchase if you're looking for something to use on a regular basis.
