Pros
Long Battery Life, Strong Power, 2 Distinctly Different Bullets, Easy Control Unit
Cons
Wires Too Long and Prone to Malfunction
After having had quite enjoyable success with the Purple Passions Dual Bullet Probe (see my review), I'd decided to try this one. Like the purple set, this too had the same power and ultra long battery life (uses 4 AAs) and the mini-probe bullet is what really makes it worth it! I found I often didn't need to use it higher than the low setting, and for me that's saying a lot because I'm usually a girl who needs more intensity when it comes to my toys.
The control pack is easy to use. I like that there is a simple 'off' button, instead of having to cycle through all the settings. There's 7 diffferent settings/patterns. You have your standard low/med/high, and then several various patterns for some variety. Also to be noted, each bullet is controlled independently and also each can be removed from the battery pack if you don't want to even mess with it. You can insert the bullet jacks into whatever slot you want (A or B, doesn't matter) These are really nice features on this toy.
As mentioned above, the real winner here is the larger mini-probe bullet as opposed to the small slim bullet. The probe has a more intense rumbly feel which is much to my preference over the more traditional buzzy feel of the slim probe. Honestly, I LOVE the vibrations it gives. The best kind you can get from a bullet vibe, in my opinion, and works great for me every time.
The bullets have a nice velvetly Rubber-Cote finish, which makes them feel...well, really nice and soft against your skin. The pink color is a pretty shade, a cross between rose/fuchsia. Cleaning is easy with a damp cloth, but please note this is not a waterproof toy and is not meant for insertion.
The larger probe measure about 2.5" in length. The smaller is about 2.25". The shape of the bulbous probe makes for easy handling, and the material makes it so that they won't slip too easily, even when using lube. I honestly haven't used the slimmer probe much, but for those who like a small discreet little bullet, this could be a nice ticket. Just be aware that the vibrations between the two bullets are distinctly different.
The batteries are easy to install and the unit closes securely. The buttons are easy to figure out and once you learn which buttons operate which bullet (A or B), operating this toy is a breeze. It's fairly quiet, especially on the low setting. On the high setting you will be aware of some noise but how loud it is will be somewhat dependent on how the toy is positioned. On the low setting it really shouldn't be too distracting at all. In comparison to the Purple Passions Dual Bullets, I think the Purple might be a little bit quieter, but not by a whole lot.
This toy is great because it packs such a PUNCH! Of all the bullet type toys I've used, this Passions line is THE BEST! However, there is a drawback unfortunately. It has to do with the wiring. I've purchased this line 3 times now (twice for the purple set, and once for this pink set), and have run into the same problem. The wiring is very prone to malfunctioning. Not initially. It should work great right out of the box (with batteries installed of course), but all three times the wires have eventually gotten twitchy on me, causing the connections to short out, creating stopping and starting of the bullets when you don't want it to happen. I was especially dismayed when it happened with this unit because after my previous experiences, I totally babied this toy. I avoided being rough with it and kept it carefully stored in a cloth zippered pouch. I was careful to not let the wires get tangled or overly stressed. So I'm not sure what keeps causing this same issue with the wiring to happen. My unit still currently works, but I often need to tweak it some to get it going again. It's been very frustrating. Also to be noted the wires are very long. Almost too long and this makes them prone to tangling or just getting too much in the way.
I do still love the toy despite the flaw. If it wasn't for the wiring issue I'd give it 5 stars. I do recommend it still. I also recommend the Purple Passions Bullets with mini-probe (which I've liked so much in the past I bought it twice) It's a toss up regarding which I like better. I MIGHT find myself preferring this pink set, because I think the shape of the probe transmits the rumbley vibes a little better, however, they are both good.
