Aims to Please

If you're looking into getting an air pulsation toy, Satisfyer will always be my recommendation, especially for the price tag. This model feels like the brand was throwing down the gauntlet, and I think they win this round.

First impression

I received the Satisfyer Prêt-à-porter in the same order as the Ora 3, it didn't have the discreet cloth covering but had a surprisingly similar package design. You can see the Satisfyer toy through the plastic, and at first glance, it doesn't look like much of anything. Is it some kind of car accessory? A little table accent? No one knows.

Undoing the tamper-proof seal and looking under the hood, I was met with the Prêt-à-porter, covered with silky smooth silicone on its underbelly while the top has a plastic that feels like pebbled leather which made me think of something you'd find in a luxury car. Maybe I'm weird.

It's nestled in a bit of molded plastic while under a cardboard insert is the USB charger along with the instructions and a silky smooth bag to store the toy.

First Use

After charging the toy, which was a surprisingly short wait. My previous Satisfyer took 8 hours to charge, double the time that the manual had said, which probably was some kind of a red flag since it did stop worrying almost a year after I bought it. I read the manual, which isn't much of a read, just a series of drawings explaining how to use the toy.

The circle button is the on/off for the vibration, while the + is the on/off for the air pulsation. My first go-around was just using the air pulse mode without any vibration and wow. It took no time at all.

Compared to the Satisfyer Pro 2, which I previously had, the silicone head fit perfectly to my clit, which I feel will be the case for many ladies. The circular opening instead of the oval shape in previous iterations and on the Womanizer, allowed me to feel the full effect of the sensation without feeling like I was missing half of the party. It also kept certain parts of my clit from being overstimulated, which usually causes that post-orgasm discomfort.

The resulting orgasm was intense and satisfying, so no false advertising there. I found that the design made it, so I didn't feel like I had to pull the toy away or break contact from overstimulation, I could get just right out the waves of bliss which is what everyone wants.

Further Experience

With the next test, I decided to add the vibrations to the mix, which are sadly buzzy vibrations instead of a nice rumble of the previous toys, but I feel that it was a conscious decision to make the toy quieter. Buzzy vibes are quieter, in my experience.

I'm not the biggest fan of buzzy vibrations, and while I believe they did kind of help my slightly desensitized clit, they did kind of overwhelm the lower end of the air pulse settings, meaning I had to ramp up the power which was a little uncomfortable at first until I found the right positioning.

As for couples use, certain positions would allow for you to use it with penetration, but I doubt it'd fit between you. I could see it being used alongside some sort of foreplay or any kind of play, and it does feel nice on the nipples.

Vibration Map

The vibrations are strong and buzzy. I do feel like it is a steady level of vibration, and instead you cycle through different tempos from the heartbeat, a rollercoaster type pattern with all the other favorites. The air pulse, on the other hand, goes up quite a bit. There are 10 vibration patterns, and 11 air pulse patterns, which I believe are more the intensity than anything, and it can go from zero to holy cow real quick.

I didn't feel that much of a slow progression as I did in the earlier model of the Satisfyer toys, but that's not the biggest deal in the world. You can easily build your tolerance with some use.
  • Very mild, low level vibration
  • Moderate vibration
  • Strong and easily felt vibration

Orgasm Intensity

Satisfyer toys always give me strong orgasms, so I wasn't too concerned in this department. I think the new shape of the head and the patterns did help and were a vast improvement over the Pro 2.
