I was very excited to receive The Pearl Lotus vibrator, as it was one of my first rabbit vibrators. Unfortunately, expectations did not live up to the actual experience.

On the plus side, the vibrator itself is an adequate size: the insertable length is 5 inches and the circumference is 5 3/4 inches. Also the dual-action motion provides a very stimulating experience and the controls were simple to use.

The largest drawback to this vibrator, from my perspective, is the material. It is made from TPR, which while it is less porous than some materials, has a very odd texture and feel to it. For me, even with the nubs on the vibrator and the dual-action vibration, the vibrator felt ... unnatural. And while I know that all vibrators are unnatural, this one feels less comfortable and relaxing. There was a sense of anxiety or resistance to using it on a regular basis. I am used to using lube with my vibrators as it makes it easier to use them and, for me, adds to the sensations and pleasure, but with this vibrator, lube was not helpful. In fact, the lube was not only unnecessary with the toy, but it conflicted with the texture of the toy.

In addition, the vibrator broke relatively quickly. This, combined with the odd texture, makes it not worth the price. The vibrator was relatively also loud for the amount of vibration it produced. It is not the type of toy to be used if you don't want others to know what you are doing.

Overall, I am sure that there are those that will disagree with my assessment of the material and vibration of this toy, but for anyone that is looking for an intense experience and a more natural feeling toy will be highly disappointed.
