The Freestyle W has a silicone body. Silicone is a highly desirable toy material because of its durability and bacteria resisting properties. Overall, this silicone toy is smooth, without any added texture. It makes insertion and glide a breeze. The material is flexible, but firm, with a plush feel to it. Overall, the only form of texture on this vibrator are the waves on the shaft. They are suitable for beginners, as they are not too pronounced. Aside from those, it is very smooth, silky, and slightly velvety. With water-based lubricant, this vibrator gets very slick allowing for easy insertion. The Freestyle is rechargeable, so there's no need to worry about having to buy batteries. A full charge will last for about 3-5 hours of use. Charging is simple. Plug the charger in to the wall, and then plug the jack end into the base of the rabbit. The rabbit comes pre-charged, and has a full recharge time of two hours. There is a plastic plug that is attached to the area around the charging port which helps to keep out any dirt or water.

This vibrator is compatible with iPods, iPhones, mp3 players, laptops, microphones, or anything with a 3.5mm audio output jack, which even includes guitars, and handheld game consoles. You can choose to listen to your music through headphones, or external speakers with a headphone style cord. If the wireless transmitter is plugged into your computer, you can enjoy a spicy Skype session, because the Freestyle will react to your lover's voice. The wireless transmitter requires 2 AAA batteries which are included in the packaging. It has a 12" cord, and a 25' range for added freedom. The transmitter is plugged into the audio device, and your headphones are plugged into the transmitter. It features a volume control knob which controls the volume being sent in to your device. This is great for the option of listening to music quietly while having intense vibrations, or jamming to your favorite songs with a more subtle experience.

It features dual motors for maximum performance. Even with two motors, the vibrator is virtually silent. On high, it can barely be heard under covers and is not audible at all through closed doors. The noise level is a low hum, which is great for discreet play.

There are five buttons located in the base of the toy in a flower-shaped pattern. The control panel lights up when the vibrator is turned on, making it easy to control in the dark. The light pulses and escalates in intensity along with the music and vibration. The symbols on them are oriented so that they are facing the user. When the vibrator is held the way it will be for use, the top button is your off button. The next two buttons below these, which are marked with an up and down arrow, control the speed and cycle you through the vibration patterns. The bottom left button, which has a wavy line symbol, is used to turn the vibrator on on the standard mode. The bottom right button, which is marked with a musical note, is used to power the vibrator on in music mode. These buttons are very easy to figure out and only require a very slight learning curve. The symbols are indented which makes the device easy to navigate by touch alone.



One thing that makes this different than most rabbits is that the clitoral extension and the shaft are controlled together. They cannot be set independently. Overall, this vibrator is pretty powerful. It can be slightly buzzy or more have more of a rumble depending on the music you're listening to. On the standard mode, the vibrations are somewhere between the two, but are deeply penetrating. The dual motors allow the vibrations to travel through the entire device without any loss of intensity.

There are seven different functions on the standard mode. The first three are your low, medium, and high speeds. The next four are patterns of pulsation, and escalation:

When switched to music mode, the vibrator will respond to the tones and beats in your music. The vibrations match the intensity of the tones, as well as the beat. They escalate and pulsate along with the music. To get the best response to music, it is recommended to set your volume on your music player to 75%. Songs with more complex rhythms may need to be set lower, and simpler songs may need the volume adjusted to a higher level. If you find that the volume level is too high or low for listening purposes, the volume sent to the device can be controlled by the dial located on the wireless transmitter. The dial allows you to pick your normal listening volume level without having to adjust what your hearing for the best vibrator performance.

The Freestyle W is made of body safe, hypo-allergenic, phthalate free silicone with ABS. Silicone is very easy to care for, is not porous, and is a highly durable material. The material naturally repels dirt and bacteria. Silicone is only compatible with water-based lubricants. Oil and silicone lubricants can damage the material. Silicone is latex-safe, and latex-free. This vibrator is not waterproof, so it cannot be submerged, or used in the bathtub or shower, but is is spalsh-proof due to the plug in the charging port. Unlike most silicone toys, this one cannot be boiled to sterilize it because of the non-waterproof design.

Mild anti-bacterial soaps are recommended for the Freestyle. To wash, simply dampen a lint-free cloth with soapy water. Scrub the material down well, making sure to avoid getting much water around the charging jack or control panel. on the base of the toy. Follow with a lint-free cloth dampened with regular water to rinse, and pat dry. Make sure the toy is fully dry before storage.

To store, keep it in a cool, dry place. The included satin pouch helps to keep the toy from accumulating dust, lint, dirt, or bacteria. The original packaging can also be used for storage if desired.

The packaging is beautiful and sturdy enough to be used for gift giving in a private setting. It has a picture of the Freestyle on the front of it, as well as some text alluding to the use on the back.

Compared to the NaughtiBod, the Freestyle W is much more responsive to music, in my experience. Because I am very curious by nature, I actually plugged my NaughtiBod into the wireless transmitter and plugged speakers into the NaughtiBod's cord and had both going at the same time. The Freetyle W puts the NaughtiBod to shame. It's much more responsive and powerful.

When I first saw this product in an industry magazine, I knew I had to have it. It was my favorite color, had a beautiful design, and gave me a new way to experience my favorite music. I look at my playlists in a different way now. Normally, I'm not the type of person who uses the pulsation and escalation functions on my toys. I prefer steady vibrations. This one, however, is different. It's not just vibration here. It's an experience. I know that when I hear my favorite songs, I feel tingly all over and get goosebumps. This has taken that feeling to a whole new level.

Another fun way to play with the music functions is to grab software where you can control the tons in your music. I have Virtual DJ on my computer and it allows me to play DJ while using this vibrator. I can tweak the tones in it to control the strength, pattern, and level of the vibrations for each song. The software also allows you to make mixes of your favorite songs so you can enjoy them even better.
