A Thrill If You Enjoy Weakness
The Thrill Ride by Hustler Toys may thrill those who are beginners. The toy has a lot of great features like being waterproof, it has a number of patterns, and is made of silicone. Sadly, power is not one of the Thrill Ride's features. On the highest intensity level, you're looking at a 3 out of 5 vroom level. It's a really nice toy in both appearance and performance as long as you don't need a high level of power. If you need that high level of power- keep looking.

Pros
Attractive colour, waterproof, texture, material, easy to use, variety of patterns and speeds.
Cons
intensity level of vibration is weak even on the highest setting, noisier on highest setting.
The Thrill Ride by Hustler Toys arrived in a rectangular, black, cardboard box. The front of the box has a cutout window so that you can see the toy through the packaging. The front also states the company name and the product name. The back of the packaging states a few product features, a short blurb about the product, and a brief description of the company. The packaging could be used for storage though it is not discreet. The packaging could also be recycled.
Inside of the box, the toy sits on a raised piece of plastic. There is an included instruction sheet. The manual states the battery insertion instructions, troubleshooting, storing instructions, warnings, and warranty information. The manual doesn’t seem to be product specific, which just means it states general information about all of the Hustler toys. The toy itself is simple enough to use though so an instruction manual isn’t really necessary.
Thrill Ride is made of plastic and silicone. The insertable portion of the toy is silicone while the base is plastic. The tip of the toy has a bit of flexibility to it but the rest of the shaft does not. There is a subtle seam line that runs up the front and down the back of the shaft. There wasn’t any drag to the smooth silicone when I had run it across my skin. When using Thrill Ride, you should only use water-based lubricants since the body of the toy is silicone.
The silicone is smooth and the shaft has a bulge-like texture. The total length of the toy is approximately 6 ½ inches with only 5 inches being insertable. You could insert the toy past the silicone shaft but you’d then be inserting the base. Luckily, the button is on the very bottom so you could insert a bit more without any issues.
There are a total of 4 bulges to the shaft. The bulge at the very top of the shaft tapers to a point. The first bulge has a length of 1 ¾ inches, the second is 1 ¼ inches, The third is 1 ¼ inches, and the last bulge has a length of ¾ of an inch. As you move down the shaft, the bulges get larger in circumference. The first bulge has a circumference of 4 inches, the second is 4 ½ inches, the third is 5 inches, and the last bulge is also 5 inches. Since the toy does not have a flared base, it would not be safe to use it anally. It can be inserted in the vagina or used externally on the clitoris or other erogenous zones. Below is a size comparison photo of the toy beside a 500mL bottle of water.
The toy requires 2x AAA batteries, which are not included. The plastic base of the toy twists off to access the battery compartment. It’s very easy to open and close. There is a clear O-ring around the compartment to ensure that no water gets into it since the toy is waterproof. Just be sure to close the lid tightly before bringing it into the water.
There is only one button that controls the vibrator. The button is located at the very bottom of the plastic base. The company’s name is printed at the very bottom of the base as well.
This button controls all of the functions to the toy, as well as turning the toy both on and off. Once you have your batteries in the toy, just click this button once and the toy will begin vibrating. The setting you’ll be met with when you first turn the toy on is the low, constant vibration. There are 7 settings in total to the Thrill Ride. To cycle through the settings, just continue to click the button. The settings are as follows:
1. Low, constant vibration
2. Medium, constant vibration
3. High, constant vibration
4. Fast pulsing, escalating from low to high
5. Medium speed pulses
6. Fast speed pulses
7. A variety of different pulses, speeds, intensity levels, and lengths
When I was playing around with the different settings, I found that right between the 6th and 7th pattern that there is the high, constant vibration again. I’m not sure if that is just with this one that I had received or if all of the Thrill Rides are like this. To turn the toy off, you can cycle through all 7 patterns or just hold the button for 4-5 seconds. When you’ve turned the toy off and then on again, you’ll be back at the very first setting, which is a low constant vibration.

Experience
...continued
The vibrations can be felt throughout the entire shaft though they are strongest in the first two bulges. The vibrations that are felt near the bottom of the shaft are very weak, even on the highest setting. The noise level to the first vibration level is quite quiet. It cannot be heard from beneath the blanket. The highest level of vibration can be heard from beneath the covers. The noise level to the toy is louder if you aren’t using it internally. If you plan on using this toy externally, I would not recommend it to those who need noise discretion.
The power level on the highest setting was not enough for me externally. I am a power-queen when it comes to external stimulation. The intensity level is probably a 3 out of 5 vroom level on the highest setting. The first level would be a 1 out of 5 and the second level would be a 2 out of 5.
When comparing the vibration type to the Couture Inspire, the vibrations are in between rumbly and buzzy. The first two intensity levels of the Thrill Ride are more rumbly but the highest setting is more buzzy. The vibrations from the Thrill Ride are not as deep as I would have preferred, though I think that the average toy user would be content with them.
Cleaning the toy is easy. You can clean the toy with soap and water, toy wipes, or a toy cleaning spray. You can also sterilize the toy by wiping it down with a bleach/water solution or with rubbing alcohol. The toy does not pick up lint and hair as badly as some of my other silicone toys but it would still be wise to clean the toy both before and after each use. When I was cleaning the toy, I decided to submerge the toy to see how well it performed beneath the water. The toy works just as nicely in water as it does when it is not submerged.
Overall I think it’s a great looking toy, it is made of an excellent material, and I love the texture. Sadly, the power is not enough for me. I’ve given the toy a 3 out of 5 because the vibrations are more buzzy than rumbly, the vibrations are not that strong, and the noise level is quite high on the highest intensity level. I enjoyed the toy internally but I think this toy may be better suited for a new toy user who still needs to discover what they like and dislike.
