This waterproof vibrator is ideal for shower play or whenever things are going to get extra wet and steamy. A classically-styled vibrator, this is not what one would consider a "discreet" toy, though it is not realistically shaped, and the transparent blue color is quite attractive.

The Turbo Glider is appropriate for both pinpoint clitoral stimulation with its narrow bulbous tip, or for insertion play, with several gentle bumps to provide stimulation. The Turbo Glider is not appropriate for anal play, as it does not have a flared base.

The Waterproof Turbo Glider is made of hard, translucent plastic, which EdenFantasys gives a safety rating of 8. It is a phthalate-free material.

The texture is completely smooth and slick, and the nonporous surface takes lube very well, allowing it to last a long time. This toy has several bulges, particularly near the end, with a gradual widening to the rest of the shaft. The bulge at the tip is narrower, allowing for easy insertion.

These swells are stimulating without being overwhelming, and, amazingly for me, stimulated my shallow g-spot despite having no curve to the shaft, when I angled it just the right way. This toy was just full of surprises! Very pleasant ones I might add.

The bottom, which has one part to unscrew to access the batteries, and the other part which is turned to turn on and control the vibrations of the toy, has ridges to make it easier to grip with slippery fingers during play.

The toy does have a little bit of a seam, particularly at the tip. I was a bit worried about this, as I am extremely sensitive to texture, but I didn't feel it during play. I think it could easily be smoothed with a fingernail file if needed.

This toy is almsost 7 inches in length, with an insertable length of about 6 inches. The narrowest bulb is at the tip, around 5/8 inches wide. The bulges and shaft widen to a maximum diameter of around 1 1/8 inches, that, combined with the narrow tip, making this toy quite accessible to beginners. However, due to the bulbs, it may be considered a step up from purely smooth-shafted traditional vibes. I like my toys slender, and enjoyed this toy a lot.

The small, round tip makes for excellent directed stimulation, and could be directed at the clit, nipples, perineum, or anywhere else that someone enjoys vibrations. I found it was the perfect shape for sliding back and forth over my clit with a little bit of lube; because of the hard plastic, it's super slippery and has very little drag or friction.

Because it is so rigid a material, care should be taken if using the toy for thrusting, as it might result in a bruised cervix otherwise! However, the rigid material also makes it great for using the bulbs to stimulate the g-spot in some female bodies (though its placement varies greatly from body to body, and many female-bodied people find they need more of a curve than a bulge).

The Turbo Glider has an extremely simple control -- simply twist the very bottom ring to turn on, and continue twisting until the vibrations reach the desired intensity.

When I got this toy in the mail, I expected such a cheap toy to be weak -- I was wrong! The top vibration intensity of the Turbo Glider are quite powerful. Although they don't reach the intensity of my E-Sensual Bullet or Hitachi Magic Wand, they are certainly some of the strongest I've ever felt in a "classic vibrator" toy which runs on only 2 AA batteries.

This toy has only one steady vibration, so those who prefer pulsing or another pattern should look elsewhere. However, it is easy to find exactly the right vibration strength for you. While I was using it, I found the highest vibrations were a little much on my clit, starting out, so I turned it down. After a few minutes, I decided to try inserting it, which is when the fireworks began to happen. While I had it inserted, angled so it was pressing against my g-spot, I gradually turned it up as my play went on, until I came at the highest setting. So the controls are certainly accessible enough and easy enough to manipulate during play!

One thing to watch out for is that although you do twist it to turn it on and off, you also twist to open and close the battery compartment -- something you don't want to do while in use, especially if you're using it in the tub. However, it IS much tighter and harder to turn the batter compartment than the controls, so unless you forget to be gentle, you should be safe. The batter compartment doesn't twist open as easily as my Hello Kitty massager does (I'm forever accidentally turning it off that way).

This toy is certainly not the noisiest toy I have. Over the sound of a shower or through a closed door, you are not going to hear this. However, if you're looking for a toy to use under your covers while sharing a room, you should look elsewhere; this toy will be heard, except perhaps at the lowest setting.

I used this toy in the shower as well as on dry land, and found it performed admirably in the water. I dried it off and checked for leaks afterward, of which I found none. I was very excited to get this toy, as I haven't had a waterproof toy in years -- or an orgasm in the shower. The Turbo Glider remedied that quickly enough!

As it is waterproof, it is easy to clean under running water with a mild cleanser or toy cleaner. Although this toy cannot be boiled or run through the dishwasher, it can be disinfected by rubbing it down with toy disinfectant or isopropyl alcohol solution (rubbing alcohol).

As with other plastic toys, if you store this toy touching other toys, especially soft, porous toys, there may be some reaction (soft toys can melt, or you may see some discoloration of the plastic). I suggest simply wrapping the toy in a bit of cloth, sticking it in a cloth bag, or even an old (clean!) sock, before putting it in the toy chest. It's fine to just toss this in an underwear drawer or stick it on a shelf. Unlike silicone, it doesn't attract lint or dust, and rinses easily with water.

This toy can be used with either water-based or silicone-based lubes.

The packaging was a heavy-duty plastic bag. Not something you'd be likely to keep, or store the toy in.



The instructions were also minimal; however, this is such an intuitive toy, it wasn't a hardship.

I used this toy as soon as I got it, sitting at my computer, browsing Eden. My eyes certainly opened wide when I discovered how powerful it was!
