L'amour bullet is a clitoral bullet that really delivers. It's a pretty pink bullet with an attached controller. It has 8 steady vibrations ranging from strong to Yowza, that's intense. Now, I like plenty of power and the levels 3-5 were enough for me. Along with the powerful vibrations comes a very loud buzzing noise. As expected it gets louder with each level of vibration. This wouldn't be a good choice for a dorm setting or a house setting with lots of people and thin walls. It was possible to drown out the noise with some music.

It is best used as a clitoral vibrator, but it could be inserted vaginally. However, it is not very big or long so it would be very shallow penetration. It is attached to a cord so it might be Ok for anal use. If the cord broke off, the toy could potentially get sucked in. I used it for mainly external on the clitoris and entire vulva, but also vaginal penetration. Of course, it can also be used on other erogenous zones of the body ie back, neck, breasts, feet, etc.

This worked well for solo play and couple play. It worked very nicely to provide extra stimulation during intercourse.

Eden carries this is pink or purple. Mine is pink. Eden also carries a very similar product, L'amour Petal which I reviewed previously. They are very similar with the only difference I can tell being the shape of the bullet. Parts of this review are identical to the other because the information is the same. I will compare the two in the experience section.

Both the bullet and controller have a satiny finish. It's very smooth and somewhat velvety. It glides real easily on my skin. I haven't felt the need to use any lube with this. Being plastic, it is rigid and doesn't have any give to it at all. It doesn't feel quite as nice as silicone, but it does have a pleasant feel to it. And it does not pick up any lint at all. That's always a plus.

The L'Amour Bullet is made out of PU coated plastic. That rates a 7 out of 10 on the safety scale. It is phthalate free. It can be washed with soap and water or a toy cleaner. Either a water based or silicone based lube is fine for this product.

The box states to not immerse in water. I wouldn't use it in the shower either. It would be easy for water to get into the battery compartment.

This toy has 2 main parts-the controller and the bullet. The controller looks like a narrow computer mouse. It's sleek and very pleasing to the eye. Most of it is a bright pink, but it has a contrasting shade of light pink on the top and another shade of pink where the control buttons are. There are seams in several places. If lube or other fluids got on it, it would need to be cleaned carefully. It has a slight curve that makes it very comfortable to hold. It's about 5 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. The battery compartment is in it's back.

The bullet is your standard cylindrical bullet. It is not quite 3 inches long and about an inch in diameter at the top. It has one seam running through the middle of it. The seam didn't detract in any way when in use. The vibrations are felt throughout the bullet, but are strongest at the bottom.

The two parts are attached by a 2 foot silver wire. The wire is permanently attached. This is not a wireless system. The cord is long enough to play without trouble. You can not, however, have someone control it from across the room.

Overall I like this design. I own this bullet in pink and the petal in purple. I prefer the purple. It just seems prettier without being too cutsey. The pink is nice though. If you like pink, you wouldn't be disappointed with this. The bullet is not discreet looking. Anyone who has seen sex toys will know what it is.

The controls are very easy to use. It simply consists of two buttons on the controller. One is a + and the other is -. Pushing the + turns it on and controls the settings. There are 8 steady vibrations. Pushing the + button will start you at the lowest setting. Continue to push until you are at the level you like. The - button will bring the levels back down. If you're at level 5, push the - once to get to 4. The - button will also turn it off. You do have to go back down through all the settings to turn it off though. There's not a quick button to turn it off quickly. You have to scroll back down all the settings. That can be annoying if you need to turn it off in a hurry.

The vibrations are strong but a bit more buzzy than rumbly. I usually prefer deep and rumbly, but I have to say I enjoyed this. It had plenty of power for me. I liked it best between levels 3-5. I didn't even miss the pulsating options.

Most of the vibrations are felt at the bottom of the bullet.

The biggest drawback is that this is loud. It gets louder and louder at the higher intensities. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to use it at all when my kids were in the house. We found that as long as we were playing music in the room and kept it under covers, it could not be heard above the music. Without the music, it can be heard through closed doors. It wouldn't be a good choice for a dorm setting.

It is battery operated and requires 4 AAA batteries (not included.)

This is easy to take care of. You can use soap and water or toy cleaners to clean. Just take care to clean in the seam areas. It should not be submerged in water. I mostly use toy wipes on mine. I store it together in a drawer with my other plastic bullet toys.

The bullet arrived in clear plastic box. It's just throw away packaging. It is not suitable for storage. There are some instructions on the outside packaging, but not a separate user guide.

I really like this bullet. It's strong, easy to use, strong, easy to care for, and strong. Did I mention it was strong? I usually use higher end rechargable vibrators. I have discovered that this works just as great as my others. I like having it for times when I forgot to charge my favorite vibe. That happens more than I care to admit and having a powerful battery operated toy ensures I always have a toy. I just have to remember to always have batteries available.

As stated above, I own both the L'amour Petal and Bullet. I can't really decide which I like better. They are both very strong. I'd say they are a 4 on the 5 point scale. They are also both equally loud. The controllers work exactly the same. The only difference is in their shapes. I prefer to use the Petal for intercourse because it lays somewhat flatter against my skin. It's just a bit more comfortable to wedge in between us than the bullet. However, for solo play or couple manual stimulation, I like the Bullet. The shape feels a little better on my lady bits. I also prefer the Bullet for vaginal penetration. I do want to stress that either one works for any type of play. If I had to choose one, I'd probably choose the Petal becasue we do most often use this type of toy during intercourse. I am really glad I don't have to choose. They are both fantastic toys.
