A Little Drop of Love
It really is a wonderful toy for its price. The different speeds can please a variety of people, whether you need only a little power, or a lot, like me. It's velvety soft, splash-proof, durable and powerful. What more could you want?

This is an impressive little bullet! While I can't say it is the best I ever had, it certainly wasn't a disappointment!
The Love Drop by California Exotics is made out of an ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic with a PU (polyurethane) finish, which they call a "Velvet Cote." Nope, that is not a typo, that's actually how it's spelled on the packaging! This coating is on both the bullet itself, as well as the controller. It is a safe coating, not containing any latex or phthalates. It is considered semi-porous, so make sure you clean it before and after each use to prevent any bacterial growth. The coating really does give it a nice, velvety smooth feel to it. The bullet has 4 speeds, all of which are a very deep rumble, as opposed to the buzzy kind in some toys. The first speed I would rate as about 2 vrooms, the second is 3, the third is maybe 3 and a half (if there could be such a thing) and the fourth kind of jumps up to a 5. Also, if you are a college student like me and have roommates or housemates, this one would not be very good if you have someone in the same room. If you have your own room, keep it under the covers and the door closed and you'll be in the clear. If you aren't sure, you can do what I do and test it out when no one is around. Turn it on to its highest setting, walk out of the room and close the door. If you can hear it, try putting it under the covers and try this again. If you STILL can hear it, maybe try to only use it when no one is there, or when everyone is asleep.
The bullets shape, a water drop with a curved tail, makes it very easy for pinpoint stimulation. It's great to use on other erogenous zones of the body as well, and can be used in foreplay.
The packaging is very tasteful, with just a pretty pink and purple flower pattern, no half-naked people (I don't know, that always seemed to bother ME). The packaging is fairly easy to open, being a clamshell type case. There's a label that says it is waterproof, but I personally wouldn't submerge it at all. Looking at it, the controller does have a few creases in it that water could easily get into. I would say it's more "splash-proof" than "waterproof."
It is safe to use with lubricants, and of course, as with any toy, make sure you clean it thoroughly with either soap and water, or a toy cleaner of your choice, both before and after each use.

Experience
The first time I used this, I found that holding the bullet for a while really make your fingers tingle from the strong vibrations. It was a bit hard to get past at first, but I found that if you hold it closer to the base where the wire is, it's not as bad. The deep vibrations really get the job done, and I was able to get off pretty easily, and this is coming from someone that needs some real horsepower to get anything out of a toy! My fiance and I like to use it in foreplay on its lower setting as well, and he seems to love it when I tease his penis and testicles with it!
Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
There have been a few times when it wouldn't turn on at first, but I think it's because of the wire - if it's positioned odd, it wouldn't turn on unless I straightened it out. The battery life is wonderful - I have had it for 2 months now, and I just put in the new batteries last night. It's a great buy, worth every penny!

What kind of batteries does this use? | 3 |
Thank you for viewing Love drop – bullet discontinued review page!
Also, to the best of my knowledge, hard plastic is non-porous. Coating, or not.
What kind of batteries did this use? How much playtime did you get out of each set of batteries?
I wasn't trying to put any false info out as far as the "waterproof" thing goes. There have been times when I've run into a product that SAYS it's waterproof and ISN'T, and I'm sure I'm not the only one that has had this issue. I was just stating my thoughts on that, again to "cover my ass" to make sure I wasn't putting any false info out and then ruin my credibility. (Whatever small amount I have, since I'm just starting out in this review thing.) One more thing...if it was something worth flagging, why did you review it and then PUBLISH IT? why didn't you send it back to me to fix it? Trust me, I'm not trying to start problems, I'm just genuinely confused on why this was flagged?
To every one else, thank you for reading. I really appreciate the positive feedback since, as I said, I'm just starting out in this.
