A head-bangin' bunny for a clit-numbin' good time?
Despite California Exotic's infamous buzzy, hand/crotch-numbing vibrations, I'm actually pleasantly surprised at the variety of functions and power this bunny offers. While having a bunny ride atop your clitoris may creep you out, the powerful vibrations will ease your mind off the bunny. Will make a nice teaser for some and a mind-blowing orgasmic experience for others. For the price, it provides plenty of fun.

The Platinum Edition Bunny Kiss is a dual action vibrator, meaning while the longer shaft is inserted, the clitoral attachment -- which comes in the shape of a bunny on this vibrator -- stimulates the clitoris simultaneously. That's in case you've ever wondered what "dual-action vibrator" means.
As for the Bunny Kiss, you have a shorter and thinner than average insertable shaft with a bulbous tip and a nearly life-like bunny with ears, a nose and the whole nine yards sitting atop a hump, ears all perked and ready to twitch away at your clitoris... or nose if you prefer that part of Bunny's anatomy to flick your clitoris!
The bulbous tip, which was designed for G-spot stimulation will only stimulate the easiest to reach G-spot. If you have trouble stimulating your G-spot with a partner's finger, this will not likely do much for yours. However, at the very least, it does provide more girth and a slight pop when inserting and removing.
Everything about this vibrator is beginner-friendly. In fact, I'd about bet that California Exotics had beginner users in mind when they created the entire Platinum Edition Butterfly/Bunny kiss line. However, it certainly doesn't mean those of us who've majored toys like Matryoshka or say, Lelo's options wouldn't enjoy this to some extent. I doubt it's a toy the girl with a "clit-of-steel" would have high hopes for, but it's fun, has a beautiful color and easy.
For the girl who likes to incorporate her toys into her foreplay regime, or just enjoys having them used on her by a partner, could use this without problems. It can also be used solo. Whatever your mood happens to be. This is a nice toy for a couple's first -- it's not likely to intimidate anybody. I mean, unless bunnies and the color purple make you want to crawl in a dark hole and hide.

Material / Texture
Bunny Kiss is made of TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) which is a material that EF rates a 7/10 on the material safety scale. The hypo-allergenic, latex and phthalates-free properties will be something most users are satisfied with where allergies or health in general is a concern.
As for being porous, I'm stumped. I personally suspect that it is just due to comparing it to my other materials and well, the price and construction of the toy scream cheap. According to my research, EF says TPR is non-porous, but according to another, more detailed page on materials, TPR is "less porous than Cyberskin, but more porous than silicone. I just use with caution, as I advise you to. I really always thought TPR was porous, and maybe I'm wrong, but better safe than sorry?
Porous toys are not shareable! Use a condom if you feel it necessary.
As you might guess, being made of Thermoplastic Rubber, this lovely vibrator's material produces some of the most "grab" or "drag" you'll ever encounter. If you've never used a TPR toy, think jelly. You know how it's almost sticky to the touch and could vaccuum your floors almost as good as your own vaccuum cleaner can. That's the feeling of this. Lurbication is a must for me. I hate the pulling and tugging of my labia. If your only TPR toys consist of the TPR you see on Evolved's toys such as Flutter, forget that. That's far less grabby and sticky than this toy. A drop of Yes Organic Lubricant is my choice of lubrication when using this toy, Liquid Silk is a great choice to reduce the major friction as well.
It's so sticky in fact, that the piece of paper it came with was literally stuck to the vibrator, almost like it'd been glued there! 'Course I had to get a picture of that. After touching this vibrator, my hands are left with a slight residue.
TPR is marvelously flexible( as shown above), so do take note if you don't do well with overly flexible toys. If you do prefer them, this will be a great feature for you.
The rest of the vibrator is made of ABS plastic and silver coating. The entire toy is TPR besides the battery cap, which would be the ABS plastic and the silver coating, which is the silver ring right above the battery cap.
Despite what you may have read on the product page, it's not entirely true that Bunny Kiss is totally smooth. For one, it has slight texture that cannot be felt when I use it, but this could vary. It's just a simple vine with leaves on it that runs from the bottom of the TPR, right above the battery compartment all the way up the shaft, and stops when you reach the bulb. Unless you look closely at the vibrator, you can't even see it. It's not so raised that most people will be able to feel it. I believe it's for decorative purpose, and not for sensation while the toy is in use.
Surprisingly enough, it has no odor even straight out of the box.

Design / Shape / Size
Design and Measurements
Bunny Kiss has a pretty nice design, size and shape for most users. It may not be the world's best for a girl who like em' big, but it's not a total fail. It's actually near perfect for a total beginner who's not sure what they will like since it has an exiguous insertable portion, a G-spot tip that won't create too intense of a sensation and has clitoral stimulation along with 9 functions that include pulsating functions. That's a really awesome variety for someone who doesn't know what they will like in a vibrator, but doesn't want to have to buy a toy specifically for G-spot stimulation, a toy specifically for clitoral stimulation and a toy specifically for clitoral and internal stimulation just to learn what they enjoy most. A pretty good deal for a toy that will deliver, but unfortunately won't last you long.
At only 3" insertable and 1 1/8" in diameter, this isn't going to give you the feeling of actual sex at all, but it's really a pleasant size for a girl like me who prefers the girth in her man's package, not in her toys. The widest part of the insertable portion is the middle of the bulb, which doesn't even measure a full 4" around. The bulb is pointed/tapered at the tip, making insertion totally comfortable for even the most narrow of us. Believe me when I say, if I can use this discomfort-free, almost anybody can.
The entire bulb measures 1 1/2" long, and as I mentioned earlier, once inserted (or removed), it creates a sort of popping sensation.
Below the bulb is the shaft, which measures less than 1 1/2" long and exactly 2 1/2" around. There's a seam running up & down either side of the bulb and shaft as well as around the bunny. As stated previously, the vine and leave "texture" begins below the bulb, right at the shaft.
Before you reach the bunny, and after you've reache the end of the shaft, there's a sort of bump (shown above.) Since I'm not an expert with describing things like this, I've included photos in hopes of making sure everyone is able to understand what I'm saying here. The entire shaft and bulb are solid TPR. Then, this bump you'll see is not, it's hollow, but inside, the actual vibrator is visible. Looking closely, this is basically, a round, hard plastic vibrator that resembles an oversized bullet -- round at the top too -- the entire TPR piece is pretty much just like a sleeve that was glued onto this vibrator. This would indicate why the vibrations aren't easily felt anywhere besides the end near the base and the bunny, but not at all throughout the shaft.
Measurements
Length: 7 1/2"
Insertable length: 3"
Circumference: 3 3/4"
Diameter: 1 1/8"
The bump that I keep talking about sticks out about as much as the bunny's face does, see photos for example. This means a lot of times the bump is what's resting on your clitoris and not the bunny. That's not a big deal though, because this bump is actually the plastic vibrator underneath just jutting out, causing a bulge in the TPR. So like me, you're probably going to feel vibrations the strongest right there.
From the shaft to the very top of the bunny head measures 1 1/2" so take note to be sure this will line up correctly with your anatomy. I've had to press the bunny head upward to get it to totally reach my clitoris while inserted at times. I have about a 2" space from my actual entrance to my clitoris and when inserted, no pressure applied, the bunny's ears are what come in contact with my clitoris the most. With light pressure, I'm able to situate it to fully touch, but those with longer space between hole and clitoris or far shorter space may have trouble. Pulling and pressing the bunny to your crotch doesn't cause a decrease in vibrations, so grind away.
As obvious in my pictures, Bunny Kiss is a gorgeous iridescent purple. The ABS plastic battery cap is even a beautiful iridescent purple! When the battery cap is screwed on, there's a silver coated plastic ring above it. This piece is strictly for decoration though, so it has no real purpose.
The battery cap has grooves in it for better gripping when you twist it on or off. These are handy since the cap has little prongs that need to be lined up before you push down, twist and screw. I guess it resembles a medication bottle, the way you open and close it. But definitely be sure those prongs are lined up or else it will break them and you won't be able to get it on. You need to twist tightly in order to feel the slight snap, which lets you know it's closed tight enough to operate. Otherwise, it won't vibrate when you turn it on.
The Bunny
I was pretty impressed -- and perhaps a little creeped out -- by how much detail was put into the design of the bunny itself. I was determined to get a good photo that really showed these details, so I hope you're able to see them. The bunny has clearly visible legs, arms, eyes, nose, whiskers, and even a bunny tail! The legs are wrapped around the hump in the vibrator, just likes he's perched atop there. The only thing missing is a carrot, but then again I suppose it'd be hard to stick your little face on a clitoris if you were busy gnawing away at a carrot, huh?
Travel, Discretion and hideability
Weighing only 0.3 pounds, Bunny Kiss can be taken with you on a vacation or road trip. It's a good choice whether your taking it on a road trip for a teaser or on vacation to the beach for a erotic night of solo or partner play. Since it's small enough to travel with and still insertable, plus all the functions it has, it does bring a sort of thrill when used in the passenger seat while on a mini-road trip.
As for discretion, no, this is not discreet. It's so clearly a bunny designed to ride atop your clitoris while the bulb is inside of you. Most people will know what it is, possibly even a younger person such as your teenage kids. Keeping it well concealed is a must if you're planning to take it on a trip with you or when company is over.
The fairly small size makes it easy to tuck away in a drawer, toss under a pillow or shove in a purse upon a moments notice. Also, the lovely color will appeal to young children such as toddlers and especially young girls. Hello, it's beautiful iridescent purple! What little girl wouldn't say "Ooooh!" when she seen it? Heck, even I did! So this isn't the toy you can leave on your nightstand and claim it's a portable fan, cat's toy or back massager.

Functions / Performance / Controls
Despite the fact that high-pitched, hand numbing, buzzy vibrations usually do nothing but numb me, the Bunny Kiss is quite the exception so far. I admit this must be due to the exciting nine functions, but the strong power of these buzzy, numbing vibrations are actually pleasurable on occasion. I have to be in the mood, but anybody who can orgasm using a typical bullet, will most likely orgasm wonderfully with Bunny Kiss. If you've been fond of other California Exotic vibrators in the past, you'll probably be fond of this one as I find they're toys all resemble each other vibration-wise, although this has to be one of the only ones by them I've had good luck with.
The 9 different functions include: escalating, pulsating and steady vibrating.
-First setting: Clicking the button once will give you the first setting, which would be the steady, strong vibration. This setting is felt strongly in the base and bunny area, but hardly at all in the shaft or tip.
-Second setting occurs when you click the button twice. This setting is the same steady vibration as the first, but slightly stronger. The vibration don't carry well all the way to the tip in this setting either, but are very well felt in the base/bunny.
-Third setting occurs when you click the button three times. Okay, I'll stop with "the number of clicks occurs when you press..." You get the picture. This setting is quite a bit stronger than the first two, but also is a steady vibration. This one is intense! It actually numbed my hands in seconds. So I'm typing with numb fingers right now. The bunny's ears actually jump and quiver and flick roughly on this setting. It is felt at the tip and shaft, although not as strong, it will produce internal sensations.
-Fourth setting. I know, I promised no more "...occurs when you click the button..." This is slightly stronger than the third, but instead of a steady vibration, you get a pulsating vibration. This is where the vibrations begin and stop, begin and stop. There's only less than a half a second of a pause between vibrations.
This causes Mr. Bunny to appear as if he's vigorously head-banging! It's funky. His ears look like they're shaking up and down. It's intense and easily felt in the tip. It seems his head is actually going up and down. It's definitely fun to watch.
-Fifth setting. This is a pulse setting too. There's less than half a second of a pause between vibrations. The bunny's head still appears to be banging up and down, though not as wildly. This is a tad stronger than the fourth pulse though, and is felt all the way through the tip.
-Sixth setting. This is more of an escalating mode. It buzzes, pauses, and then has a longer buzz. Entertaining, but this type doesn't get me going as much as a strong, steady vibration does. The sixth setting doesn't feel any stronger than the last to me, but seems it's just a different pattern of vibrations.
-Seventh setting. This one has a longer pause between vibrations and seems more pulsating than escalating to me. There's almost a full second of a pause between vibrations, and at times it actually feels weaker than the last two settings. It's still powerful enough that the ears shiver and shake, but no head-banging bunny this time. It's numbing and can be felt slightly at the tip.
-Eighth setting. This is like a roller-coaster or escalating pattern. It's harder to describe. It's like this: BZZ BZZ BZZ BZZZZZ. So basically, it's pulsating and the last buzz is drawn out a little longer than the first several. Slightly intense, but not as much as the others. When I touch the bulb tip, I can feel the vibrations in my fingers only.
-Ninth setting. BZZ BZZ BZZ BZZ BZZZ. That is exactly the sensation and sound that is emitted on the ninth setting. A lot of bzz bzz bzz bzz's and then a last longer buzz. It's very intense and when touching the tip, I can feel the vibrations all the way up my arm!
Controls, Functions
Bunny Kiss needs 2 AAA batteries to get going. These are not included, so have a couple of brand new ones on hand!
How To Operate Bunny Kiss
The off/on button is located at the very bottom of the battery cap. It's a clear, squishy little dude. This button is your only button, so it is what you'll press to cycle through all 9 functions as well. To turn on, you simply press it once. To turn off, you need to cycle through all functions. California Exotics didn't create a "press and hold to turn off" feature for emergency purposes.
When the cap is removed, there's a "+" and "-" symbol above the battery compartment showing you which way to insert the batteries.
Noise
Only the first few settings, the Bunny cannot be heard through a closed door, and only slightly heard through the covers. The pulsating/escalating seem to be the noisest of all. I was able to hear the last couple of settings when I put the vibrator on my bed and stepped outside the door. With an air conditioner, TV or music going, it's not likely that any of the settings will be audible through a closed door with the added security of background noise. The pulsating/escalating buzz sound aggravates me after a few minutes, although it's not that loud. I suppose that could have something to do with being a person who has difficulty with Misophonia. The other steady settings don't bother me.
Of course if the vibrator comes in contact with a hard surface like a bath tub or even the bed, it becomes louder. This is about as loud as a cell phone's vibration. It will be heard if someone's in the same bed or room with you and there's no background noise, but unlikely through a closed door.

Care and Maintenance
Bunny Kiss should be washed with hot water and a soft (mild if you're me and such a rebel!) soap. Do not ever boil Bunny Kiss because it has a motor and because well, it's pointless as this material cannot be disinfected by boiling anyway. Use a toy cleaner wipe or spray if you prefer. Since the raised vine texture isn't so pronounced, a wash cloth or heavy-duty cleaning such as scrubbing with a toothbrush isn't necessary unless you let it dry after using. It rinses off nice and easily with soap and hot water. I recommend letting it air dry or using a dish towel to avoid a hairy bunny. As discussed previously, the Bunny came with lint on it, and almost doubles as a vaccuum, so avoid using a bath towel or wash rag to avoid fuzzy bunny syndrome.
Bunny Kiss is quick to clean since it's waterproof -- has a clear rubber O-ring -- and will hold up fine to splashes and submerges as long as you ensure the battery cap is twisted on well. Upon testing a toy for its waterproof capabilities, I first start by sticking the base under running water, removing it quickly, and then drying off the outside before opening the cap to inspect for water droplets. This done fine for that test, but upon keeping it submerged for minutes at a time, I noticed the tiniest water droplet on the O-ring, which is good that it stayed on the ring rather than getting inside the actual compartment, but it makes me a little more nervous to use it under water than I am with a toy that shows no droplets at all. It is waterproof, but that cap better be tightly closed.
The fairly small size makes this easy to store. It can be tossed in a drawer, fit into a small purse or toy box. Just remember to place it in a plastic bag if you plan to store it with other toys since it will "melt" if in direct contact with others. I actually had the bulb on my Butterfly Kiss "melt" when stored next to a jelly toy! Also remember not to leave it in direct sunlight as this can melt or degrade the material too.
Always remove the batteries when not in use! They can corrode and will ruin the toy, not to mention with the slight bump of your cell phone when tucked in your purse, it can turn on and alert everyone just what you're packing.
Also, now's a good time to mention what the inside of my battery compartment looked like upon arrival -- not good. I couldn't get it to show up well in my photos, but the two tiny metal prongy things that are located on either side of the twist-off battery cap feel and look as if they've had a saw taken to them. They've been filed away or something. The copper battery things also were crooked and look as if they'll fall right off any second. The inside of the battery compartment itself had white powdery junk all in it. I honestly didn't think this baby would ever vibrate after seeing that, but it did. It's one tough little guy for whatever it must've gone through before making it safely to me.
Bunny Kiss is latex condom-friendly and compatible with water and silicone-based lubricants.

Packaging
Bunny Kiss comes packaged in a feminine, cute, but non-discreet or useful paper box. It's flimsy and has a photo of the Bunny Kiss on the front and side. This wasn't an issue for me. I don't mind having the box show the toy, but really dislike a box to show people using the toy or in the buff. I find this package to be cute enough for gifting to a special girl friend or sister if you're close and comfortable enough. It's nothing you will use for long-term storage since it's so flimsy and will likely rip. As long as discretion isn't a huge issue, gifting it would be fine. There are more discreet toys out there, but there are also nicer toys out there, so it's really dependant upon how you and the receiver would feel.
The box is while with little pink bunnies and a background designed with a floral look. It says "Bunny Kiss" in cute text on the top front. "Bunny" is in silver and "Kiss" in purple. Each side, including the lid part has the California Exotic Novelties logo.
The front of the box says "The ultimate feminine arousal! 9 intense functions and waterproof."
The side panel says "Platinum Edition Bunny Kiss" and the other side says the same, but includes more information such as: "Optimum Bouncing Bunny With Flickering Ears," "Body safe," "9 Intense Functions of vibration, pulsation and escalation." And below also has the Cal Exotic logo, a bunny and waterproof text.
The box has a slot for hanging and a tiny circle that says "Safe and Pure."
The back has the following printed in 5 different languages:
-9 functions of vibration, pulsation and escalation.
-Easy push-button.
-Body safe, unscented, pthalate free.
-Incredibly powerful.
-Waterproof.
So, the packaging does make every feature clear in almost every language. Packaging was made in USA.
The bottom says you can register your product at Vibetronics.com. It also has the "anti-trash can" symbol, which is due to the batteries. This is warning you not to dispose of them in any trash, but to take them to a special place for discarding batteries because they contain harmful chemicals.
It also has the "CE" symbol, which means the product conforms to safety regulations of Europe and a few other areas.
The bottom lid flap has the typical "for novelty use only, not intended for any medical purpose, but for external use only. Any product use for meical purpose of for a use that has an adverse effect on any function of the body is prohibited."
It also states the material, that 2AAA batteries are needed, but not included and again that this is a novelty only. I consider this plenty informative.
Inside there's a little paper (the one that was stuck to the vibrator) that tells you how to insert batteries. It says thank you for choosing this product, recommends using alkaline batteries. The sheet advises against the mixing of different batteries. It instructs you to remove them when not in use, to insert them properly and then activate by pressing the on/off button, tells you to use this button to cycle through settings. It also says "this multi-funcional vibrator is heavily dependant on the quality and freshness of batteries. Stalling does not imply that this product is malfunction or defective. If the product stalls or stops while in operation, try replacing the old batteries with fresh alkaline ones."
Then there's a diagram of how to properly insert the batteries.
Inside the box, Bunny Kiss is wrapped and taped up inside plastic.

Experience
To be honest, I've had really terrible luck with almost every California Exotic toy I've owned. There were a couple that were decent, and the rest were downright awful. My second California Exotic toy was a very similar one to this -- the Platinum Edition Butterfly Kiss! However, it totally died out within a few uses and wasn't nice to begin with. It didn't line up correctly with my anatomy, so it wasn't ever in contact with my clitoris if inserted. While that was my experience over a year ago, I do feel like California Exotic has stepped it up with this "newer version." However, I don't quite understand why they keep naming toys "Platinum Edition."
My first Platinum Edition -- the butterfly kiss -- had only a few speeds. This has 9, and they're more powerful than I remember the butterfly being.
My experience with this toy, while designed nearly identical to the Butterfly Kiss, has been different. I'm not able to reach a full orgasm with this on any given day. I have to be in the mood and already sensitive, which happens about once a month for me, and I believe for most? It just so happened that this arrived to me on one of those days. So I've been able to actually orgasm with this alone, but I know it won't happen every single time. So far, I've had four different nice experiences with this, all at various lengths. This brings me to the conclusion that my fresh batteries are not being guzzled from the Bunny yet, but the intense vibrations do make me feel I'll need to keep an extra set on hand. I doubt this will give any indication when it's about to die, but I'm just hoping the batteries are the only part that dies, since with my Platinum Edition Butterfly, it was the toy that died -- not the batteries!
I've been able to successfull use the Bunny Kiss during foreplay and at various other times before as well as after intercourse. However, I did have one unsuccessful experience, but I knew better. I used the Bunny before my partner performed oral and it of course numbed my crotch the point where I could barely feel my partner's tongue, and that means no orgasm for at least 40 minutes! I knew that buzzy vibrators do that to me though, so I set myself up for that one.
If you're like me and rarely orgasm with a super buzzy vibrator, I would still recommend trying this if everything else suits you. If nothing else about this toy suits your likes though, maybe it's best not to have high hopes. But for most people, it will be fun for something whether it's foreplay alone, teasing, etc.
My partner likes using this toy on me because it's small and easy to hold on to without the worry of plunging it into my lungs. It's also great for the sensitive days I tend to have due to the trusty ol' endometriosis or menstrual cycle cramps. This is short and not fat, so I don't experience intense pain when using it. I do appreciate that because that's not the case for all of my toys, and hey, who's to say a girl doesn't want internal stimulation during that time? I like not having to stick to clitoral only toys due to the pain internal ones can cause when I'm already having cramps.

Thank you for viewing Platinum edition bunny kiss – g-spot vibrator review page!
Thanks for the superb review Kendra!
LOL Js50. You are so cute. Thank you.
Kissy: Oh dear, I am afraid this one wouldn't workout then if you hate the sticky icky. Lol. It does not go away either! I tried it with Liquid Silk and that was much better to handle, but the sticky is hardly noticeable at all when I use Yes (an organic) lube, but it probably wouldn't be worth the trouble if you don't do well with sticky. Thank you so much for your kind comments.
I really want to try this one, since I already tried the butterfly kiss.
I image the clitoris part would feel a little different since one is a bunny and the other is a butterfly. Great review by the way.
