A "Grape" Vibrator
My first experience with the iVibe was fantastic. It gave me what I was looking for - an orgasm, quickly. Definitely suited for beginners as there aren't a lot of bells and whistles to confuse, but if you've been using toys for some time, you might want to look elsewhere.

Pros
Easy to use, easy to clean.
Cons
Only one speed, poor ergonomic shape.
Use
I bought my Doc Johnson iVibe years ago and have used it since.
I purchased it strictly for use as a clit vibrator (as I haven't yet found the elusive G Spot) and it has proven to be a dependable toy. My iVibe came with several attachments, which I tried for clitoral stimulation, but found I preferred it au natural instead. I did, however, learn that with one of the slimmer attachments secured, I could insert it anally for an interesting experience (though not interesting enough to warrant a full review on that alone).
The iVibe can be used for self play as well as couple play. It's small enough to fit between bodies and easy enough to reach around to other areas during sex. Try using it under your chin or on your cheeks when giving oral sex to your man - its rumbles add a nice change of pace.
It's not so loud that it can't be masked, but it's definitely not whisper quiet.

Material / Texture
The iVibe is made of plastic - plain and simple. There isn't much in terms of texture that could be used to its advantage, aside from the small vibrating balls and the accompanying plastic topper with small plastic bumps on it.
The entire toy vibrates when turned on, leading to "vibrate-y" fingers if used for too long. I haven't thought of a way to prevent this from happening.

Design / Shape / Size
The shape is pretty straightforward: slightly larger than a tube of lipstick, not flexible at all, and not particularly ergonomic. The size makes it easy to tuck away in night stands, under pillows, or in a purse. Traveling with the iVibe is certainly doable. After years with this toy, I suggest that it is suitable for beginners or people who just want to get in, and get out. Quick, no fuss.

Functions / Performance / Controls
For a quick tryst with your significant other, this might come in handy. For longer sessions (say you've lost your orgasm again and are trying to find it with this), it might get a little uncomfortable.
The iVibe is battery operated, using one AA which fits into the back end of the toy. Because the size of the battery itself is just over the size of the toy, the entire iVibe vibrates when turned on, leading to vibrate-y fingers if used for too long. I haven't thought of a way to prevent this from happening.
The controls are extremely easy to use - one turn of the back end and you're in business. However, make sure the arrow on the head of the toy lines up with the line on the battery end of the toy, or else you could ruin it.
One drawback, for sure, is that the iVibe has only one speed. If you have a sensitive clit, this might not be the toy for you.

- Battery guzzler
- Easy to use
- Not enough variety
Care and Maintenance
Care for the iVibe is extremely easy. Use a toy cleaner or warm water and mild soap to clean. Removal of battery will extend its life. When I am not using the iVibe, I store it in my panty drawer, or under my pillow - you never know when an occasion will arise to use it!

- Easy to clean
- Easy to store
Packaging
The packaging was perfect, if a little indiscreet. It came in a transparent box, displaying the iVibe in the center and its attachments around it. Perfect shape to wrap! Using the box it came in to store it might be a little disadvantageous. It's easier to store without the box, though this might mean the attachments will be loose.

- Good for storage
- Recyclable
- Would make a nice gift

Thank you for viewing iVibe pocket rocket – pocket rocket discontinued review page!
Please don't think, though, that even "experienced" users don't appreciate this toy. A lot of us like simple toys with few bells and whistles a lot of the time. (In fact, one of the reasons I don't even have a rabbit, despite a varied toy collection, is all the "bells and whistles" many of them have.) My Man likes straightforward toys, and appreciates simple toys as much as I do.
It was a good review, especially for your first one. Keep writing, and you may want to look into the Mentor Program to help you write really great reviews.
For the "buzzy fingers" thing, sometimes wrapping the toy in a men's handkerchief or bandanna, (or other cloth) on the area which touches your hand can help you not get "numbed out" by the vibrations.
