This is an awesome little vibrator designed with texture play in mind. For the novice at texture experience, the Mood Playful vibrator offers a wide rounded tip for those who enjoy more vibrational surface area than those who like the pointy little tips, and gives you a taste of two different textures to experiment with. One is traditional smooth plastic, the other is a velvety textured TPR.

And had this toy been made just a little bit higher quality, I'm sure I'd of loved it even more.

The combo of smooth vs velvety is certainly a winning one, particularly where the materials are joined on the sides in an s-curve fashion. The plastic side is slippery when wet, much like any plastic you may have experienced, but the velvety TPR side causes more friction when worked against the skin. Now friction, in case you didn't know, is bad ass. It's what causes the greatest orgasms in the universe! Everything is better with friction!

And sliding that curvy plastic/TPR ripple through your bits? So much more sensation than you'd get out of a traditional plastic vibe.

The design on the outside is fun, and takes one out of the comfort zone of the traditional. The size is perfect, fat and happy, and good for the soul. It may be a little thick for those who aren't used to insertion, should those folks be out there and are maybe just looking for clitoral stimulation.

The other thing to think about is the wide round tip. If you'd prefer a pointy more direct tip for your clit, this toy will not be compatible with you. But perhaps it's worth a shot anyway just to have such a cutie in your toy box with the nice textures. I mean this toy is, after all, cute as a dang button.

Aaaaaand here's where the praise stops.

Normally I wouldn't mention that the first Mood Playful that was sent to me was defective (button lit up and made an eeeeeeeeee noise but it did not vibrate) but I feel like I need to bring it up because of what happened with its replacement.

The replacement worked well through my various tests, such as letting it sit and vibrate on the chair for a while to see if it gets hot or anything or if it guzzles batteries, and its obvious intended use. (Though the button at the end is easy to accidentally slip your thumb over, thereby turning it off if you're on high speed. No bueno.)

Just before sitting down to write this review, I wanted to check its waterproof claims. Also, because the toy is quite loud I was wondering if it was "whisper quiet" as it claims once submerged.

Sadly, after washing it, then submerging it for only a few seconds and then switching it off, the toy did not turn back on again. I was very careful to check the seal to ensure that water would not get in, and I did not notice or feel any moisture inside the toy, but obviously something had gone wrong.

Or perhaps it wasn't related to the water at all and it's just a poorly made cheap toy. WAH! I'm peeved because this was a good one. You may have better luck than me though, and even if you don't it's still a nice toy to keep around. The velvety texture is fun for g-spot play if nothing else.

Please be careful when cleaning this toy if you want it to last, as I don't think its waterproof claims are totally sound. You may just be better off wiping it down with isopropyl alcohol rather than cleaning it with hot water and antibacterial soap.

Due to the TPR, avoid oil based lube and stick to water or silicone.

I'm disappointed with these toys simply because I ran into two duds, and I just don't like those odds. I wish anyone who decides to try these lots of luck in yours not crapping out on you as mine did.
