Despite it being on the expensive side, this is a great gateway toy into the world of luxury items! When you touch this item and hold it in your hands for the first time, you know it's something worth the buy!

Bulky Compact, Lots of Packaging, Definitely not quiet, Expensive,
Make Me Over is perfect as a massage toy, and when positioned correctly it makes for fantastic clitoral stimulation. It is only an external vibrator though, unless accompanied with another toy. It is a toy that definitely needs to be manipulated to get maximum stimulation, so when using it solo always make sure you are elevated on pillows or one of these support pillows here.
It really is a luxurious massaging tool; with the right oil it can be a sensual massage for foreplay or use it directly on the skin, with the toy on high to get a deep massage or two in for you or for your partner!
With the placement of the buttons and the convenience of the handle, it is the ideal toy for couples and partners. While solo, it requires a bit of practice to be able to press the buttons without completely taking it off of the area being massaged, it can be used with ease when put onto another person.
The vibrator is made with body-safe silicone and ABS. The top is smooth with the buttons and a strap to slip onto your hands, while the pink half has the body-safe silicone and has a diamond weave texture underneath. I love how smooth it is, and how it doesn't get too cold (like some other toys get). I think the diamond weave is a great texture for toy people at any level.
One drawback about this toy is that the rechargeable compact the toy is stored in is WAY bulkier than I expected. The vibrator itself is small enough for travel, but if you want to travel with it inside the compact, you will definitely need more than a makeup bag or clutch. On the upside, if you do tote it along in a bag or a purse, it looks no different than a normal makeup case or compact. I like the shape of the toy itself, but when you use it for clitoral stimulation you have to finagle it to get it just right.
Make Me Over is ultimately controlled by two buttons: the plus and the minus button. You hold down plus for 3 seconds to turn it on, then hold down minus for 3 seconds to turn it off. There are 6 vibration settings: Normal, medium, high, waves, small pulsations, quick pulsations, and then kind of a random pattern. All of the vibrations focus on the bottom (closer to the metal rings). The plus and minus button are placed so that you can press them with the strap in your hand and conveniently (its kind of like pressing a remote control)
The vibrations are not crazy loud, but it's not exactly discreet after you get it out of the low setting either. You will definitely know it's there.
When you initially get the toy, you will get the rechargeable box and the USB cord. It has to be charged before use. To do so, just plug it up to your computer or USB compatible wall charger and let it sit. While it is discreet, in order for you to even know if it's charging, you have to open up the compact (the light flashes on the vibrator itself) and there is no definite way to see when it's finished. If you still have the silk storage box, you have the option, when finished, to store it in there or in the recharging case for discreetness.
As for cleaning, the vibrator is only splash-proof. The best way to clean it is with a damp cloth and light soap, a baby wipe, or the EdenFantasys cleaning wipes.
I cannot rave enough about the packaging. I already own another of Kandi's toys (Hold On To Me)and the packaging is always perfect and gorgeous. When I went to buy Make Me Over I wondered how the packaging would work (since the vibrator is already in a rechargeable box), but it is constantly the same format.
First, you have the outside box, which has the BK logo on it, the OhMiBod Logo on it, and on the back it has the basic information of the product. It is a little bit hard to slide the box out of the first box, so there might be some ripping involved. It makes for secure packaging, but the embellishments for that are not that useful to me, unless I shop for it offline.
The second box is a pure black box with the BK on it. This is the reusable box. When you open that one up it has a silky insert inside to place the compact in, as well as the BK symbol on the inside when you pull out the instruction manual.
The compact itself (the third and final box) has the same black box with the BK symbol on it, but this one has a direct preview of the toy's texture on the top. This box is plastic and is lined with the same golden embellishments. The inside has a mirror for added glitz.
Now the packaging is perfect and I love it, but it's a running gag with me and my boyfriend that I spent 20 dollars on packaging. It would be ideal for gifting.
Good for storage
Not discreet
Recyclable
Follow-up commentaryI still like it9 months after original review
This is still a beautiful and high quality product! I don't even really need the outer box! Recharging and portability make it well worth the money and it definitely has "staying power" in the long run of my toy chest.
