The Diamond Dolphin by California Exotics is a dual action rabbit vibrator. This means the rotating shaft and vibrating clitoral stimulator can massage the clitoris and G-spot at the same time. When used at the same time, the power from either piece will not decrease or effect the other in any way. So, if the clitoral vibration is on high, the shaft rotation will not slow down or decrease and vice versa.

You can use each function separately which is always a nice feature. There is an O-ring around the battery compartment, so you can use this in the shower or tub. I have used this toy in the shower and no water seeped inside, just make sure the cap is sealed tightly.

The Dolphin is made of TPE, and has a lot of drag to it. Any loose particles and hair will cling to it. The TPE coating is completely smooth. There are beads inside it but they don’t bulge out, and you can’t really feel them during use.

TPE is a porous material, so use a condom with it if you plan on sharing this toy.

If you leave this out, people will know immediately that it’s a sex toy. The clitoral piece is a dolphin shape. It has a long nose which carries the vibrations fairly well. It also has tiny eyes so if that creeps you out, then don’t get this. The nose only sits about ¾” of an inch above the shaft, but it is flexible, so you can lift it to where you want it.

The total length is 9 ¾” with up to 4 inches insertable. The circumference around the head is 4 ¼” and the shaft gets slightly slimmer. I think this would be too bulky to travel with.

Near the base of this toy are 24 rhinestones that give it a really nice classy look. I haven’t had any fall off on me, so they seem to be stuck on pretty well.

There are 5 buttons to operate this toy. While inserted, the buttons on the right side control the 3 rotation levels, the buttons on the left control the 3 clitoral vibrations, and the button on the bottom reverses the rotation. The buttons are very easy to push. The functions are very simple so I think anyone who is either a beginner or an advanced user will get satisfaction from this toy.

The Dolphin is fairly quiet but may be heard through a closed door if you don’t have the TV or some music on. The rotation function has a high-pitched whiny sound, and only swivels about half an inch, so it may not hit your G-spot. The shaft will also withstand clenching. It might slow down a little if there is a lot of pressure, but I haven’t had it completely stop. The vibrations from the clitoral attachment are more on the buzzy side, but will not diminish significantly if pressure is applied to it.

The Dolphin takes 3 AA batteries which are not included. The battery compartment twists open and there is a tray inside to hold the batteries. The springs on the tray let you know which way to insert the batteries.

This toy is a lint magnet, so you’ll want to wash it before and after every use. Warm water and mild soap or your favourite toy cleaner will do the trick. You will also want to keep it where nothing will stick to it, and keep it away from other toys. It is compatible with water and silicone based lubricants.

Keep the batteries stored separately so they can last longer and won’t damage your toy. The included battery tray will make it easy to keep your batteries stored separately while not in use.

The dolphin came in a clear plastic box, with the toy resting in a tray. I didn’t notice any overpowering or strange smells when I opened it. There was a little paper with basic instructions about how to insert the batteries. The box is not ideal for storage because it is too flimsy and bulky.

Overall, this is a very good dual action toy. I like that it’s waterproof, and the rhinestones are just so pretty. It only comes in white, but I don’t really see that as being an issue. The clitoral piece has nice strong vibrations, but since the nose is pointy, it can be too intense at times. It also doesn’t heat up too quickly.

I wish the rotations travelled a little wider because it doesn’t feel like it’s doing very much. The beads are close to the head of the shaft so only the part inside you is rotating instead of the whole shaft. I recommend this to anyone who wants a nice rabbit-style toy that will get the job done.
