The padded, metal container is hinged on one side to allow it to swing open and closed and it even has an extra space in the padding to store the two included N size batteries needed for operation. The diamond hope has a very unique shape that starts out rather slender at the top and widens toward the bottom. There is a thin seam located where the slender area(about 1" diameter) connects to the wider area(about 1 1/4" diameter) but it feels smooth to the touch. At the bottom you will find a wide battery cap that unscrews to access the battery compartment. The cap itself sports two rows of faux diamonds, 24 total. Below these accents, also located on the battery cap itself, you will find a twist dial that not only turns the vibe on but controls the speed of vibration. When switched on, there are several different speeds but, there’s no distinction between the speeds. It starts out with a very mild vibration that increases up to a fairly intense vibration on the highest speed. The focal point for the vibration is located within the first inch of this massager starting at the tip. It’s not silent but, can’t be heard through a closed door.

The diamond hope is made from black, phthalate free, ABS plastic coated in a velvety rubber-cote for added comfort and has no smell fresh from the package. The diamond accents contrast nicely with the black rubber-cote which is nonporous and easily cleaned with antibacterial soap and water, your favorite toy cleaner or wiping down with isopropyl alcohol. The recommended lubricants are water and silicone.

When put into use, the wider base makes it easier to handle and maneuver than what the slender size of the opposite end would have been making it much easier for your fingers to grip. Also, the faux diamonds are useful for maintaining your grip and offers a non slip band that is attractive to look at.

The intensity of this vibe would be strong enough for most people to enjoy. While the motor does provide an easily felt vibration, it is not extremely powerful. It is a very slender, mini vibe so there isn't a lot of girth or insertable length with this one either but, these properties make it extremely portable!
