You'll Catch More Than Fishes With These
If you're looking for fishnets, Industrial Net Stockings are some of the best you'll find. Unusually comfortable and long lasting, these can add pizazz to any wardrobe. Plus you can't beat the price at $3.99.

Pros
Stretchy, soft, and strong!
Cons
Only comes in one color
Stockings are a bit of a hobby. Okay, that may be an understatement. I've about 18 pairs of knee or thigh highs and wear a pair (or more, if layering) every day. When this pair arrived (wrapped up in a cardboard backing, like tights you'd buy at a department store), I didn't have high expectations for them. At $3.99, I expected to find the cheap fishnet quality of Halloween stores. That said, the Industrial Net Stockings by Leg Avenue are some great fishnets.
Often, fishnets are tight and scratchy. You can't wear them for more than a few hours or they'll mark up red diamond patterns all along your legs. Toes get pinched. It's all around a bad time.
The black net on this pair is soft and elastic with an excellent stretch. Even though they measure about 22 inches in height, they can stretch to fit longer legs or compact for smaller ones. Even more delightfully, they feature toe panels! The horrors of stuffed up and pinched toes are over. Made out if a nylon blend (96% Nylon/4% Spandex, from the manufacturer's website), they are easy to clean. It's best if you hand wash or throw them in a lingerie bag and then let air dry, but I must admit I get lazy and just throw them straight into the wash and dryer. They come through fine.
And when they say industrial, they mean it. The netting is thick and surprisingly strong. They'll be able to withstand any nights on the town and will defeat all catch-able (well, mostly all. I wouldn't test it with, say, a scythe) things that intend on destroying them.
With their peep-toe design, these won't have to be regulated just to the bedroom. They'll be comfortable paired with heels and a dress for a night on the town or with flats for a more everyday, casual outfit.
You will need garters for these though.
Above are the thigh-highs without garters added. As you can see, the tops rolled down a bit and created a thick line. They can stay up without anything else, but will slowly roll down more with active use. For fishnet thigh-highs though, that is the kind of stockings you actually want. The kind that stay up on their own generally accomplish that by having a lace elastic panel up top. That is great in theory, but if you have any thigh fat at all then they create a very non-sexy bulge. However, the Industrial Net Stockings avoid all of that by not having any band and rather end in the same fishnet material.
My only wish is that these only come in one color.

Experience
The size really does fit most. A 30 lbs lighter (and several inches shorter) friend borrowed them recently for a punky outfit. They fit her comfortably and without any sagging. Afterwards, they stretched out again to fit me without any problem.
Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
Hands down, these are some of my favorite stocking! I wear them frequently and they've yet to snag or rip. They are also withstanding the wash (just tossing them in with everything else) really well.

Thank you for the review and the lovely photo of your legs in them. I would've liked it even better if you had included a photo of the packaging and a photo with your toes peeping out out to get a better idea, but these are surely available elsewhere.
