Escante has put together a sexy outfit. The "midnight blue corset dress with hose" is nearly sexy perfect. It comes complete with adjustable garters and sheer black thigh highs. The only item I would add would be link which is black lace gloves.

The color is a deep, although not dark, shade of blue with a touch of green. It reminds me of the Caribbean Ocean. When it arrived and I first saw the color, I could not help but daydream for a moment about that Caribbean cruise we all need and want to take with our partners!!! Be sure to book a room with a balcony--trust me, you'll be glad you did! The material is lace, satin and cotton (crotch) and has some stretch to it, but you need to size carefully. If in doubt, size up. There is nothing flimsy or light weight about this outfit.

The top of the strapless corset is rimmed with a 3/4" strip of black lace. At the bottom of each side there is a triangular piece of lace measuring 6" at it's tallest point and 8" at it's widest. It is very sheer, delicate and pretty. The bottoms of the thighs are cut moderately high and along the edge there is a 3" ruffled strip of matching lace that runs 360 degrees around. There are narrow, evenly spaced, black strips of satin that run vertically on the garment. The middle front strip cleverly disguises a zipper closure. Crafty! You really need this because there is not much give to the corset and it would be difficult to put on and take off without an opening. A better choice would be a lace up back closure. There is no boning or underwire support for your breasts. The attached garters are adjustable but not removable. Thigh high sheer black stockings are included with the corset.

The corset can be machine washed in warm water but should not be machine dried. Because of the lace, particularly the ruffled piece, I strongly recommend that you place the corset in a delicate lingerie bag or a pillow case. The stockings can be carefully hand washed and placed on a towel to dry. Personally, not being a "hand wash" kind of girl, I placed the stockings in another lingerie bag and into the machine they went. I placed them in a different bag than the corset to prevent contact with the garters.

My BF loved, loved, loved this outfit. When he first saw it on me, I was worried he would never breath again! He talked about it nonstop for several days, begging for a repeat performance. I had never seen him with such a positive reaction to an outfit. He almost didn't want me to remove it (but since it is not crotchless, he gave in without too much discussion).

I have been working out and my measurements are 36D--30--34 and I weigh 137, which puts me in the medium to large range so I ordered a large because my experience with Escante is that their items run small. I am glad I ordered the large because I needed every inch of it. My boobs are a bit compressed in the large (although the size chart says a large will accommodate a D cup) but my BF likes a lot of cleavage so all's well that blah, blah, blah. It is comfortable to wear and although it is firm none of the edges are binding or leave a mark. It helps form, or enhances, a stereotypical hourglass figure. I really like that because I'll take all the help I can get!

The stockings are pretty simple, but nice. They reached about 6" above my knee and the garters are necessary to keep them up--do not expect the stockings to stay up on their own.

This has really held up through multiple wears, washes and always returns to shape. I feel really sexy and my husband loves the way it looks. But, still no support for the breasts.
