The Lace and Sheer Lycra Babydoll by Coquette is available in one-size-fits-most and plus size. I wear an XL so I had purchased the plus size option. I purchased the babydoll to wear for my partner because he really likes white lingerie on me. I thought it could possibly work as a top to wear beneath a shrug as well. I figured that if it didn’t work as a top, I’d still be able to wear it in the bedroom.

The outfit arrived on a fancy white padded hanger. The outfit was surrounded with plastic with just a small barcode sticker on it. The hanger would be excellent to use to store the babydoll when you’re not wearing it. There was a cardboard tag attached to the outfit with a few photos of a model wearing the outfit. The tag also stated the company name, company website, product name, size, and colour.



The babydoll includes a white matching thong. The outfit is 80% nylon and 20% spandex. The material to both the babydoll and thong are stretchy. The cups to the babydoll are not sheer but the rest of the babydoll is. The thong is not sheer.

The babydoll is all white in colour with black shoulder straps and black embroidered trim along the cups. The trim is approximately 2 inches. The shoulder straps are ribbon and do not have any stretch to them. They are adjustable in length though with a little tab, similar to a bra strap. The bottom of the babydoll has 2 layers of sheer material. The second layer (the bottom one) is just slightly longer than the top layer.



The cups to the babydoll are not padded and do not have underwire. The material is quite thin so if you’re worried about nipple outline you may want to wear a pair of pasties or similar item beneath the top. The included thong is basic and all white in colour. It can easily be replaced with a nice pair of white boyshorts or similar panty. The thong does not have a lining in it.



The plus size is the OS/XL on the Coquette sizing chart. The size chart states that the OS/XL is best for those between the weight of 170-200lbs. I'm just slightly below this. The suggested cup size is C/D. I'm a C and it fit fine. Waist and hip measurements aren't really important to note because the bottom of the babydoll flows outwards.

I’m 5’6 in height and the babydoll falls half way down my bum. The cups fit my C cups well and would be fine for someone a cup size larger than myself. The bottom of the babydoll really flows so it’s not tight at all. Actually, I think I would have preferred the OSFM amount of material. This babydoll seems to have a lot more material drooping from it, making me look much bulkier in my midsection.



In the photo above, I’m wearing a tank top beneath the babydoll. It has moulded and padded cups. Like I had mentioned, the cups are really thin so without the top beneath it, you can see nipple outline. Also, the bottom is sheer so if I were to ever wear it out, I’d need it to be opaque.

To be honest, I’m not sure if I’ll wear it out. If I do, I’ll have my sweater done up a little bit at the bottom because of how bulky it is. I’ll definitely get a lot of use out of the outfit in the bedroom though. My partner just loves it!

The material is really soft and comfortable. I’d be able to wear the outfit for a long period of time without any issues. The care tag states that the outfit should be hand washed only and hung to dry.

Overall, I think it’s a great outfit for the bedroom. It’s comfortable, cute, and inexpensive. I would definitely recommend the outfit to others.
