I received my DreamGirl Dirty Cop outfit the other day in the usual small package that you would find in a Spender's store. I must admit that most of DreamGirl's products are cute. This one is just as cute. It is not my favorite, but it works. The set includes a dress, hat, necktie, and handcuffs. I will start off with the hat.

It is 100% polyester, and it is navy blue with a black pleather bill. It has a gold star and ties with two ribbons around the back of your head. If you do not tie it tight it will fall over your eyes. I find it a bit uncomfortable. It needs to be hand-washed in cold water and line dried. With the ribbon ties it would fit heads of all sizes.

I also want to comment that the plastic gold handcuffs that come with this costume are merely a prop. They would not be good for playtime, and of course it says "kid's toy" right on the cuff. I do not have a picture of them simply because my youngest son got a hold of them and now they are his.




Now I will move onto the necktie. It is 100% polyester, and it is navy blue with a black pleather tie. It is rather cute, but it will not fit all necks. Of course, I can't speak for all the sizes since I got the small. Perhaps the other sizes have a bigger necktie. That I do not know. It has a velcro latch, so it is easily removable, but it may chafe sensitive skin. It has a snug fit, which I do not like all that much. This is to be hand-washed in cold water and line dried as well.





Now I will move on to the dress. The dress is 100% polyester and, of course, navy blue and black. It needs to be hand-washed in cold water and line dried. Alright, ladies: You smaller-chested girls are probably not going to like the way the top fits. It has no support and just kind of hangs there. As I mentioned earlier I got the small size, but it is still not a very tight fit for a slimmer build - especially a smaller chest (mine being an A cup). The dress has two black zippers that go up the front and unzip both ways. It also flares a little at the bottom. It is not as long as I would like, so my thought on this outfit is that with a pair of black pants it would become a wonderful Halloween costume.




Those are my own thongs that I had to wear since the dress was short and didn't come with them. The back is pretty much open, with two black crisscrossed straps.




For the most part I do not LOVE the outfit, but it is cute. I am not a fan of polyester since it feels itchy against my skin. I would say it is a good costume, but for a curvier woman.

I still really do like this little costume. However, I wear it with a bra that has support which makes it curve just right.
