Who Doesn't Like Climbing Fences?
These stockings are a great choice if you're looking to add a splash of color to a sexy outfit. The control tops are best worn just above the knees. While there is no reinforced toe, the large holes make it comfortable to pop your toes out entirely, letting you wear just about any footwear you desire.

Pros
Gorgeous color, Comfortable, Toes fit comfortably between netting
Cons
No reinforced toe, Support band is not everybody's friend
The packaging here was nothing exceptional. The stockings came wrapped around a cardboard insert behind a cardboard fold inside a plastic bag. The front and back both have peek-a-boo windows as well as a photo of a model wearing the stockings. The back has a materials list and a sizing guideline.
I wasn't overly thrilled with the quality. I mean, if you're really rough these won't last tremendously long, but they just feel really fragile. I did tug and pull and stretch and didn't see anything come out any worse, but I would be careful to avoid snagging the material while wearing them.
For the design, the band at the top could have been done much better. It's about 2" tall and lacks enough reinforcement to keep its shape very well. It's the seam between the netting and the band that really holds everything up. Now here's where I got really torn on how much I liked the design. The toe isn't reinforced. At all. Not even close. But because these are fence nets and not fish nets, it's actually really comfortable to pop your toes out in a way you can control and let the material sit between your toes for the night. Because of that you don't have to worry about anything while wearing open or closed toes shoes, you could even wear flip flops if you wanted to. These also come in black, white, nude, royal blue, purple, and baby pink.
The red color is quite spectacular. It's a lot brighter than it looks in the pictures. I'm including a picture here to try and show you just how freaking bright it is. If you have pale or really dark skin, these are going to pop really well.
The sizing guide indicates that these are a one size fits most with a weight guide of 90-160 pounds. That's definitely not going to happen. The length isn't going to be an issue for most. I stretched each stocking to end up being about 40" from toe to top. From my heel to where the top of the stocking was supposed to sit is about 25", including my toes at a point, I measure about 31 1/2". I experienced no bunching, which I was worried about based on how stretchy these are. The band across the top stretched to about 11" when laid flat.
These stockings are made of 94% Nylon and 6% Spandex. They say to hand wash separately, drip dry, and don't bleach. However, I've thrown other pairs just like this in with my regular wash and they came out just fine. If you'd like to play it safer you can throw them into a pillow case or lingerie bag and wash on a low cycle in cold water and either tumble dry on a low cool setting or let them air dry.
For storage, keep these anywhere you keep your delicates.

Experience
For all the things I don't like about these stockings, I like just as many really. Well, the one thing I really don't like is the support top. There just is no good way to have it sit on the thigh where it looks like it's supposed to without causing the infamous stocking muffin top. Where I tried to have these sit is about 18" around and after about 3 1/2 hours, they had to get moved. So they traveled on down to right above my knee which measures closer to 14 1/2" around and while slightly less sexy, infinitely more comfortable.
At first I was mildly irritated with there being no toe support whatsoever, until I popped my toes through the netting and realized that because of how big fence nets are the material wasn't going to be pinching the skin between my toes. Then I was really happy, because when I got home after wearing these for about 7 hours, the only issue I had had was with the top band, and moving it towards my knee made the whole difference.
These were really comfortable, and the color is just phenomenal. I was torn between 3 1/2 vs 4 stars, and I think that most people will have a great time with them, so I chose 4.

I'm honestly still a little torn. These are amazingly comfortable, right up until that damn support top. It still digs into my thighs, and in addition to that awesome muffin top it gives them, it also hurts after a few hours. I was able to keep them up with a garter belt pretty easily though. I can also still pop my toes right through the ends, so the material sits between my toes. Much more comfortable than trying to keep the material over my toes. In the interest of not taking up tons of space, here's a link to a picture rather than showing you how they sit. It's a shame these have been discontinued here. If you think the support band won't bother you, these are still a decent investment.

Thank you for viewing Fence net thigh high – hosiery review page!
It always bothers me when stockings only have weight on their requirements, and not height. I weigh about 170, and have no problem with Legs Avenue stuff width-wise, but am 5'8 and length-wise they fit just barely. What if someone's 5'11 and 140 pounds? Weight isn't a good indicator of body type anyway.
And I spent more time watching that engagement ring than the color of the stockings.
Thanks girls
