What a beauty!
This is a very pretty costume and you will be the hit at any of your parties or in your bedroom.
This costume definitely has the wow factor. With its colorful fabric, gold trim, and flashing lights along the breast, you will definitely be noticed! I am guessing that my breasts once again hindered me from fitting into a beautiful outfit that I like.

Packaging
The costume arrived in a basic, plastic packaging that most Halloween adult costumes come in. There is a picture of the model wearing the costume on the insert on the inside.
Sizing
I ordered the 3X/4X because in some Dreamgirl outfits, they have been short or small on me.
Right off the bat, I knew there was something up with the underwire on the breast portion. It fit super weird and I could never get it to lay across my chest. It always wanted to bulge out. The cups fit more narrow than what my F cup breasts are. It also hung down in the front quite a bit and showed much of my bra that I was wearing.
It was very revealing in the bust area. The sizing did seem to be off but once again, that could be due to my cup size.
Measurements:
Dress length from top of ruffle above gold bow on center- 23.5"
Dress length from middle top of bra cup- 26.5"
Dress width directly across rib cage area- 17"
Dress width at navel- 19.5"
Skirt width 27.5"
Breast (Bra) cup width- 8 3/4" at widest point - 7"
Each underwire measures at 12" total length
Breast cup length from top middle to bottom middle- 7 1/4"
Sleeve area attached to cup circumference is 14"
Sleeve area that goes around arm measures at 13" unstretched
Sleeve area is 26 " stretched to max.
Zipper is 16" long.
Corset style panels on front measure at 3.5" x 10"
Gold ribbon used on panels- 3/8" wide
Gold trim along skirt- 3/8" wide
Gold circle details- 3/4"
Front center bow is 4" wide with a tail of 4" long
Bows on sleeves are 3" wide with tails of 3.5" long.
Each light up star measures 1"
Each stamped star is 3/4 "
Each skirt layer is 5" in length.
Details
This dress itself is 100% polyester. This does not include the trim, details and the organza sleeves.
The bow accent directly between the breast cups is pretty and looks very shiny when light shines on it.
Each sleeve has a gold bow at the top as well. They are a bit smaller than the front bow but they look nice.
On the front of the dress, there are 2 corset looking panels with ribbon laced through them. They are not adjustable and the bottom bow on each panel is sewn in the dress and can't come untied so there is no way to adjust these ribbon laces.
The ribbon on the front corset panels is itchy but it should be fine since it is not directly on the skin. Each skirt layer panel has glitter hearts on it. They seem to be glued on or stamped with a gold, glitter paint. These are also on the sleeves. The skirt layers also have gold discs on them but they are only on the front portion of the dress. There are none on the back. There are 14 discs on the top layer, 15 on the middle layer (pink) and 15 on the bottom layer.
On each breast cup, there are 4 plastic stars that light up! I REALLY liked this part of the costume. They blink on and off and they are lit by yellow lights. They are seen easily in the daylight and they are very bright and eye catching in a completely dark room.
These really make the outfit. You don't see many of these around so the lights definitely give this costume a leg up over the other plain gypsy costumes.
The battery pack is on the right side of the costume in a small bag-like holder which is the same material as the dress, it sits near the arm pit on the dress. I did not notice it while wearing the costume. It is secured by a loop of fabric and the fabric also covers the wires. You just slide out the battery compartment and turn the slide switch on or off. The costume comes with printed instructions on how to use the lighting device and 2 extra batteries. If you want to change the batteries, simply unscrew the two tiny screws in the middle of the plastic battery holder and insert the new batteries. Be sure to dispose of the old batteries properly.
The battery type is: Lithium battery CR 2032 - 3V
This costume comes with a bandana for the head which measures at 31"x32". It is purple and 100% polyester like the dress. This also has the stamped glitter stars on it. It fits well and doesn't slide off while worn.

Experience
Imperfections
The sleeves on this dress were a bit itchy to me, they seemed to be organza material. It could be that it was big in the shoulder area and the right sleeve kept sliding down. The sleeves are very puffy and sheer and the edges are ruffled. I am 5'2" and this seems like it would fit a taller person better. It did come down to 2" above my knee. It wasn't short on me.
There was one gold disc that was hanging farther down than the rest. This can easily be fixed, it looks like someone had a mishap on that one.
There is a ruffle that runs along the top of the breast cups, this material is polyester just like the main portion of the dress. This ruffle has the gold, glitter stars stamped on it.
This would fit a 3x/4x perfectly, although if you have size DDD/F breast, you will most likely have a full coverage problem. If you have a smaller cup size, this should fit more snugly against the body. My breasts caused this to push out the under wires causing a weird fit. This is made for someone who's waist is larger than mine but the cup size is smaller. My waist is 37 inches.
There was a lot of work put into this costume from all of the trims to the ribbons, lights, stars, and the discs. Iis a very detailed costume.
For the care of this item, this will have to be spot cleaned because of the battery pack. There is no way to fully remove it and the wires that are connected to the lights are under the material so those can't be removed either. You could possibly lightly hand wash the bottom skirt area and hang to dry but just don't get any up near the bra/cup portion. You could use a damp rag to spot clean any spots in the chest area. Just make sure that the rag isn't too wet.
The dress closes in the back by a zipper and above the zipper has one small hook closure for added security.
I usually wear 13/14 in jeans and L/XL in tops. At times I wear 1X because of my 38F bra size.
There is plenty of stretch in this outfit and worked great for that. In theory, I would need to go down to the XL or 1X size but because of the cup issue, I may skip this altogether because of the cup sizing issue. You can tell in the last picture posted that it fits odd on me for the breast area.

Follow-up commentary
1 month after original review
I ended up sending this back because of the way that it fit me. It was entirely too big and it just wouldn't work for me.
