Very Delicate Stockings
These are definitely not every day stockings, but if you're looking for something sheer to wear on occasion, these are a pretty good choice.

Pros
Very comfortable, Backseam isn't uncomfortable at all
Cons
No reinforced toe, Tears very easily
One of the reasons I love stockings is because they can be so versatile, yet still relatively inexpensive to swap in and out. I had bought these in hopes that I could add a pair of more sheer stockings to my collection, but alas, it was not meant to be.
These come in a slightly larger than I expected package from Leg Avenue, but there was no cardboard insert in either of the stockings. They're 100% Nylon and should be hand washed in warm water then line dried. Due to the fragile nature of the stockings, I'd definitely recommend avoiding the washing machine. You can keep these anywhere you keep stockings or other delicates.
Leg Avenue's sizing guide says that these are a one size fits most with a weight range of 90 - 160 pounds. Honestly, it really just depends on where most of your weight is. Where the tops fall on my thighs is about 19 1/2" around and they're really comfortable. From my heel to where the top of the stocking was supposed to sit is about 25", including my toes at a point, I measure about 31 1/2". I wouldn't try to get them up much higher than that, as the material is already stretched pretty thin. But unless you've got really long legs, you shouldn't have any problems finding a spot on your thigh to let these lay.
These stockings are indeed pretty sheer, and the backseam isn't all that noticeable, at least to the touch. It's more of a decorative zig zag stitch than anything productive. Most of each stocking is a very sheer, very delicate feeling material. It's going to snag very easily, and run very easily, and get pulls very easily. But it's still pretty comfortable. At the top there's about 2 1/4" of a thicker nylon that runs into a strip about 3/4" high that's a weight between the thicker nylon and the very thin nylon of the legs of the stocking. You will need a garter to keep these up, but it's pretty easy to clip everything in, and doesn't seem to slip out, even with movement. There's also no real reinforcement on the toes. There's a little strip that's a little thicker than the stocking itself, but not much, and it's not very reliable.
If you're wanting these but not in black, they also come in red, nude, and white.

Experience
I want so badly to love these. The material is super soft feeling, and they're really comfortable, even for extended wear. Better than most of the rest of my stockings actually. But, when I went to put them on the first time, I got the first one rolled on, looked down, and saw my toes poking out the end. But I liked the feel enough that I tried on the other one to wear around the house for a while just to see if it would be worth repurchasing the set, and I'll be buying another pair. If I tear that one right away though, I might not buy a third pair. But if you're looking for something to wear occasionally, these are pretty nice.

You know what? I never did get around to buying another pair. However I have found pretty much the same things only as pantyhose and I honestly like those a lot better. I'm not opposed to getting these again in the future, but it's really not high on my priority list.
