This Set Commits Treason Against Tiny Ta-Tas

Lingerie is supposed to make you feel sexy, but for the smaller chested women, this set is going to make you feel like you're wearing a slightly sexier version of a 'my first training bra' set. Chestier women will probably have problems with getting the support you need, and that's after you take the time to try and get into the top. Not the worst set out there, but certainly not the best.

Pros
Nice color, Well made.
Cons
Top can be confusing to get into, Definitely not for the small breasted.

extremely useful review
I've dealt with quite a number of all around bad lingerie sets, but until I tried this one, I had never felt like a 12 year old in a training bra.

The packaging was a side flip box. The front of the box features a model wearing this set, and the back has a different model showing off the back side of this set. You also have a short description and available sizes in 5 different languages.

This set is listed as a size small, which to Coquette would mean that to be most comfortable in this set, you would have to generally be a size 4-6, B cup, 34-36" bust, with a 26-28" waist, and 36-38" hips. I wear a 34B bra, under my bust measures 28 1/2" and around measures 31". I've got about a 25" waist with 33" hips. Nothing was too tight.

For the other sizes available, Coquette has the following measurements listed:
Medium: size 8-10, B cup, 36-38" bust, 26-30" waist, and 38-40" hips
Large: size 12-14, C cup, 38-40" bust, 30-32" waist, and 40-42" hips

If you find yourself between sizes, I recommend going up a size to try and ensure a more comfortable fit.

The top is a really awkward racer back style. At least that's the closest thing I can think of to describe it, so I'm including a picture to show the rest of you. It measures roughly 12" across when laid flat but stretches up to 19". The front has a 6" wide by 4" tall panel in the middle with one 'cup' on either side. The cups measure about 5 1/2" tall. On each side of the panel in the middle is a peek-a-boo slot, 3" tall, with a light pink bow in the middle, holding the slit together. The straps that go over the shoulders are 12" long, but stretch up to about 24". The edging around the entire piece is a light pastel pink, and the sheer material that makes up the body is a pink so light it's almost white. There is no underwire, so the bustier ladies will be lacking support, however the smaller chested ladies will feel as though their breasts have been hidden.

The bottom is tanga style shorts. The edging and piping are the same as the top, and the body of the shorts is the same almost white, barely sheer material as the top. Laid flat, the top band measures 12" across, and stretches up to 18". The sides are 4 1/2" tall and from the top band to the crotch seam is 6 1/2". Each leg opening is 11" wide and stretches to 14". From the center of the top in the front all the way down and around to the back, is a strip of piping that matches the band on top. It has 2 bows in the front, and 1 in the back.

Coquette has little illustrations on the box that are supposed to tell you how to wash this set, but I find those to be very confusing generally. Luckily, the bottom piece comes with a tag that tells you your set is 90% Polyester and 10% Spandex and you should hand wash only. I personally feel they would be fine on a light setting through the washer, and a cool low setting through the dryer, but don't take my word on it as I haven't done that with this set yet.

You can keep this set anywhere you keep your other delicates.
Experience
I'm not sure I have ever had a set of lingerie make me feel as flat chested and unsexy as this set did. Seriously. I only kept it on to show my fiance, who took one look at it and said, ya, that does absolutely nothing for your figure. I knew my boobs were small, but I thought the lingerie was supposed to make them look hot, not like I was wearing my first training bra.

And the top, took me literally 5 minutes to figure out how to get on. I just sat there and stared at all those silly straps across the back. I finally figured it out, and this was the only part of the whole set that I liked. My nipples kept poking out of the peek-a-boo slit in the front and then my nipple rings would catch on the way back in. And I don't know why I keep buying things with tanga style shorts. I don't like them. I don't like the way they fit, the way they feel, or the way they look. So that part of this set I don't hold against Coquette, but for finding a way to make a very self confident person get very self conscious very quickly, I do hold that against them.

It does pass the extended wear test for those of you without an aversion to tanga bottoms. Except for the issues that my pierced nipples created, I couldn't really feel anything and experienced no discomfort.

The set feels like it's made pretty well, and like it would hold up for a good while. While I was wearing it I didn't really experience any discomfort except for my own personal issues with the shorts. However that's about all I can really find that's good about it. The top isn't going to look good at all on anybody with smaller breasts, and unless you have implants (and nothing against you if you do) the size breast I think would work best won't get the support they need.

For me, this set was pretty much a complete bust. But I do feel there are others out there that it might work for.
Follow-up commentary
Apparently this set has been discontinued. You're really not missing anything by not buying it. I liked this set so much that I forgot I owned it until I was doing some cleaning and found it. It still fits, but it still makes me look like a 12 year old in a training bra, so I have no use for it and tossed it.

That's horrid. I didn't think of that in the design at first, but I can totally see it now. As a girl who does have smaller breasts, this set would be horrible. Great review.

They picked a great model, that's for sure.

    Thanks

It doesn't look like this set fits a very wide range of women at all. I'm size 12 with a D-cup, so even if I could wrangle the top on, it would squash me! And squished boobs only really look nice if they're boosted and supported, like with a bodice or corset.

    Excellent review.

    Thank you

And should you decide you want to try wrestling with the top, it does come in larger sizes than what I got. I might try a large if you decide to go that route.

I have small breasts, too, and I agree that this set would probably look hideous on me. Nice review.

It's a shame because it looks super cute in the picture but I guess when you have perfect tatas anything will look cute! I am bigger chested and have 2 babies under 2 so I know this would never ever give me any support! Nice review!

It's too bad that sometimes cute outfits only work for like 5% of the populations bodies.... No worries, though! There's sure to be something else out there. I totally understand the small boobs issue, I am right there with you. Thanks for the review!

Thanks for the warning.....I was interested in this set, but being smaller chested, Im so glad I found your review.

It would be really nice to find lingerie that made small boobies look bigger, but it'd also be nice for the chestier ladies if there was more lingerie that adequately supported. Someday, I have hope, lol.

    Thank you all so much

    I know

I've been working up the patience to give this set another try, but all I have of it are mediocre memories at best

It looks very cute in the picture butI am not sure my C-D cups would fit in that.

I think the next size up might work, but I'm still not sure I'd recommend it to anybody, lol
