At first glance, this set looked pretty basic and for the price, it seemed reasonable. I loved the simplicity of the set, so I figured I'd give it a try. After receiving the set, I wish I had chosen something different and here's why:

First off, the color is more fuchsia than purple as stated in the listing, which was a bit disappointing as I am not a fan of this shade. It actually looks much more pink than purple.

The set I received is a size small and it looks to be correct sizing, so no problems there. One major downside to this product though, is that while it has a halter style tie, it doesn't have a tie option for the back. It's just an elastic band, with no way to remove it other than sliding it on and off. If you're busty at all, you're going to have some problems squeezing this down over the girls.

Additionally, the straps are quite thin, so if you're wearing this for any amount of time, it's going to start digging in, which will be uncomfortable. Across the front, there is a rhinestone accent necklace, which up close looks really cheap but at a distance, it's alright. I just wish that it was removable, so that you had the option of wearing it or not. It's sewn right into the straps, so removing it would make the top unwearable.

The bottoms also have the thin elastic strip, which is going to be uncomfortable if you wear it for an extended period of time. However, unlike the top, this elastic seems to have much more give, so if you are hippy, you shouldn't have a problem. In the item description, the bottoms sit nicely on the the bottom but when I wore them, they were extremely high waisted. It looks like I just came out of 1963 wearing them. They go past my belly button! They'd be perfect for some sort of throwback party!

Both garments are made of 100% polyester. The tag says to wash on a gentle cycle and tumble dry, but I hung to dry because I was nervous about the rhinestones snagging the material. I'd say you'd probably be safer to hand wash because of the same reason.
