These "Pasties" Aren't Pasties At All
I had really high hopes for the Ruffled Fishnet Bra Set with Pasties by Leg Avenue. I loved the outfit when I had first seen the stock photo. Ruffles, hearts, sequins, netting... everything I love in one outfit! Sadly, these so called "pasties" that are with the outfit are actually just sewn pieces of fabric to the cups of the bra. There is nothing pasty about them at all. The bra would have worked a lot better if they actually were pasties, but they're not.

Pros
feminine, stretchy, inexpensive, comfortable material.
Cons
the heart "pasties" are just pieces sewn to the cup so they are not adjustable, no plus sizes.
The Ruffled Fishnet Bra Set with Pasties by Leg Avenue is available in sizes S/M and M/L. I ordered the size M/L and prayed that it would fit my XL body. I was really attracted to this set because of the ruffles. The price of the outfit is excellent so I really couldn’t pass it up.
The outfit arrived in a rectangular cardboard package. The front of the packaging states the company name, included contents, size, and has a photo of a model wearing the outfit. The back of the packaging states the same information as the front, as well as the company contact information, care instructions for the outfit, and material composition. The back of the packaging also has a photo of the back of the model wearing the outfit. The packaging is cute but it is not ideal for storing the outfit when it’s not being worn. I prefer to keep this outfit in a drawer. The packaging can be recycled.
Inside of the cardboard packaging the outfit is folded neatly inside of a plastic bag. When I took the pieces out of the bag I was a bit surprised. I had assumed that there would be three pieces: pasties, bra, and panty. This is not the case. The outfit includes the panty, and the bra. These so called “pasties” are actually not pasties at all. The sequined hearts that cover the nipples are actually sewn to the bra itself. I assumed that these pasties were optional with the outfit but they are not.
The outfit is 100% polyester. The netting to the outfit is not stretchy but there is elastic trim on both panty and bra, which allows for plenty of stretch. I’ve taken measurements of the outfit laying flat. I’ve noted which measurements are stretched and which are not. If you need additional measurements let me know and I can get them for you.
Bra
Cup length: 6 inches
Cup width: 8 inches
Length of halter ties: 20 ½ inches each
Length of back ties: 17 ½ inches each
Width of heart on nipple: 2 inches
Length of heart on nipple: 1 ¾ inches
Ruffle trim along top of cups: 1 inch
Panty
Waistband unstretched: 12 ½ inches
Waistband stretched as much as I could: 22 inches
Length (taken down side of panty): 4 ¼ inches
Width of sequined area at front: 8 inches
Liner length: 3 ¼ inches
The bra closure is elastic band, which ties at the back, and the top ties are halter style (ties behind the neck). The elastic band is lengthy as well as stretchy so they should accommodate most sizes regardless of the width you need. I wear a C cup and had no issues with the size of the cup because it’s adjustable. I feel that a cup size larger would fit comfortably as well. The width of the bottom of the cups can be adjusted as the elastic band runs through the bottom of the cups instead of sewn directly onto the band. The measurements I had taken of the cups above are with the width of the cups at widest. Below is a photo to show how the cups can be adjusted for less width.
The cups are netted and outlined with elastic band. There is no padding or underwire. The hearts are sewn to the outside of the cup and have sewn sequins on them. The top of the heart sits 2 ¾ inches from the top of the cup and the bottom of the heart is 1 ½ inches from the bottom. Along the top of the cups is a lace trim. The lace is quite soft and pretty. At the very top of each cup, there is a large, black bow made of ribbon. As you can tell from photos and this description, it’s a pretty busy piece. Some people may prefer a more simple approach to their lingerie but I really like everything that’s going on with the bra. I am disappointed though that the hearts are not pasties.
The panty is just as busy as the bra. I’m not even sure where to begin because there is just so much going on with the panty! Firstly, in the stock photo on the product page it appears that the front of the panty is netted like the rest of the panty. It’s not though. The front (8 inches wide) between the two black ribbon bows is actually a mesh material with sequins all over it. This mesh sequined area goes all the way down the panty (to the crotch), and stops where the crotch lining ends. The rest of the panty is netting.

Experience
...continued
There are 2 rows of lace ruffle trim that run along the back and sides of the panty. These ruffles are 1 inch in length. These lace ruffles are on elastic band so they do not restrict the wearer who needs extra width. One important thing to note about the ruffle trim along the panty and top of the cups is that the more you need to stretch this area, the less ruffled the lace appears to be. If you really need to stretch this area, you’ll be left with a lace trim, rather than ruffled lace trim. At the back of the panty, the top of the ruffle is 1 ½ inches from the waistband of the panty. The ruffles run to the front of the panty and stop where the mesh sequined area begins.
The care tag states that the outfit should be hand washed in cold water and drip dried. Only use non-chlorine bleach when needed and do not iron the outfit.
As for my experience with the outfit… It was fine I guess. I expected the panty to be a bit tight since I’m a size XL and it was. I was able to wear the panty but I think my bum is too big for the panty. I had a heck of a time with the top back of the panty exposing my butt crack. I was able to pull the top of the panty just above my bum crack but with any sort of movement, the panty crept below. Other than the crack exposure, the panty was quite comfortable against my skin.
When I first put the bra on I thought to myself, “okay, how the heck am I going to align those hearts with my nipples”. It did take a bit of adjusting with the straps but I was able to finally align them correctly. The issue with these hearts is that they’re sewn to the netting of the bra. I had the hearts aligned, but after walking around, moving around, etc. I looked down at my chest and seen that the cup material had shifted a bit and my hearts were no longer covering my nipples.
The hearts sewn to the cup is a big problem in my opinion. What would have been nice is if the inside of the cup (where the heart is) was sticky so that the heart would stay in place. Or, if they just included a heart set of pasties to wear beneath the bra. When I purchased this set, I was under the impression that we received a pair of pasties to wear beneath the bra. With the heart sewn to the netting, I feel that the bra would work best for those with a very small chest, with tiny nipples.
I’ve given this outfit a 3 out of 5 because of the heart issue. It’s a cute outfit but the fact that the hearts are sewn to the cup is rather ridiculous (in my opinion of course). I had such high hopes for this outfit but it just didn’t work for me. Like I had said, if you have a very small chest with small nipples, it’ll work best for you.

Follow-up commentary

I haven't worn this set since my original review. The panty exposes my bum crack and the bra is just silly. The set looked fabulous on the model in the stock photo but doesn't work for me at all. I still can't believe that the name of the product says, "... with pasties". This set doesn't include pasties at all. It's fabric hearts sewn to the bra. The deception!
