The Sexy Techie
I have been looking for a corset that I can really move in and Polka-Dot Mesh Corset is that corset for me. It can make any size body look sexy and give that hour glass look to anyone.

Pros
fits all size bodies well, easy to move in
Cons
hard to get in.
I know that I have talked about the fact that I do dj and that I do dance from time to time. But I also do sound from time to time. My sound guy is also my lover and a lot of times when he needs help for a bigger show, he will call me up to come and be his second in command. I don't know the sound gear as well as he does, but I can set it up and take it down just as well as anyone else on the team. I also do know the sound board fairly well.
Usually when I do tech I am not dressed up at all. I'm just in cargos, a t-shirt, and combat boots. But there has been a few shows that we have done where I have had to look more like a girl and have had to dress up. Even at steampunk events, I can't usually wear corsets. I can't run, climb lighting rigs and push speakers that are bigger than I am in a corset.
To be honest, it's hard for me to dj in a corset. I do move a lot and I do dance when I'm in the dj booth and it's not easy to bend and move in a ridged burlesque corset. I do have them and I do wear them when I am dancing or have events where I don't have to run around like crazy.
I have been wanting for a corset that I could really move in. And finding a corset that I can move in and looks good on my size 14 body has been very hard. So, I was praying that Polka-Dot Mesh Corset would fit that bill for me finally.
I ended up getting the 1x/2x sized one to make sure that it would fit. It fit my body perfectly. Even gave me the hourglass figure that many of my heavily structured corsets do. It has four garter straps that can be removed from the corset. These are perfect for any dancer or performer that works with stockings. The boning in it is metal and this makes the Polka-Dot Mesh Corset much easier to move in than most corsets, especially the whale bone ones. There is also elastic on the inside to help cinch in the waist even more. The closures are all little hook and eyes. The hook and eyes are much harder to do than lacing up like most of my corsets are, but with the way that it looks it's well worth the trouble.
Polka-Dot Mesh Corset has a few different fabrics mixed into make it really sexy. The bows on it are placed at the top of each leg on the front and between the breasts and are satin faced. Most of the detail is in the mesh fabric with spots that covers the body of the corset. But it is also backed so no flesh shows though. The cups of the corset have some structure that help a top heavy girl like me support the breasts even more. The ruffles are made of a similar mesh fabric to the detailing but without the spots. There is also velveteen over where the boning is making a lovely accent to the whole corset.
Polka-Dot Mesh Corset really gave me more curves than I already have and there is nothing wrong with that at all. And it can make a plus sized body and any sized body look very sexy. But the kicking of Polka-Dot Mesh Corset is that I could really move in it. I have never had a corset that I could push those huge speakers around and not have any problems. I was even having to climb light trees in to while a show was happening, and this was a huge show and a lot of steampunk and neo-victorian bands.
Polka-Dot Mesh Corset let me look right for the show, seeing that I was the tech that was supposed to be seen by the crowd, and still let me do my job without any restricting.

Follow-up commentary

I have djed and danced more than a few times in The Polka-Dot Mesh Corset now. I still totally love this thing. I have a female lover that has been drooling over it big time and it comes in her size and she needs to get on here and enjoy it.

Are the hook & eye closures made of metal or plastic? And I have the same question for the garter belt attachments.
