The Gothic Nurse
This costume looks great on the model, but not out of the package. The sizing is poor and inconsistent. The costume also is missing pieces to be complete to wear. It is a cute design and might work for someone with a different shape.

Pros
Attached garters, cute design.
Cons
Hard to put on, bad sizing, missing pieces.
I had chosen this costume for Halloween but had to order a different one at the last minute because this was wasn't going to cut it.
I thought it looked super cute and sexy, but after trying to put it on, I realized there were sizing problems. I really don't like Leg Avenue for one main reason; their sizing is very inconsistent. Not just from product to product, but also within each product. For example the top of this costume fit, while the bottom wasn't even close. There was no way I could wear this in public.
The costume has three pieces. It comes with a satin corset style top that clasps in the front, a VERY short faux pleated skirt, and a head piece. The picture shows a cute pair of ruffled Bermuda undies which don't come with the costume.
The top was very sexy, but kind of difficult to get into. It was kind of restricting and also uncomfortable. The fit wasn't good and I had to keep pulling it down to keep it from riding up. The lace up back was gorgeous though. I was sad that I wasn't going to be able to wear this costume for Halloween.
The skirt was where the big problem came in. The skirt was already extremely short. It didn't fit my hips at all and so I had to wear it higher around my waist for it to fit comfortably. This made it so the bottom of the skirt barely covered half my butt. This was obviously not going to work at all. I did like that the skirt zipped up the side and had attached garters though.
I didn't bother taking the head piece out of the packaging. I knew I wasn't going to wear this, but it did look like a cute addition to the ensemble. It is in the style of a headband.
The costume is made of polyester and it felt cheaply made. It should have come with the Bermuda shorts shown on the model to be a better costume. Also, the picture with the live model looks like a different material than the product I got.
After trying this costume on, despite sizing problems, it looked more like a bedroom piece than a going out to a party one. This was a disappointment since it looked so cute. I do also believe it isn't worth the money. It seems a bit over priced for the quality.
I am giving it 3 stars due to being strangely or incorrectly sized, seemingly poorly made, and in need of more pieces to be complete.
If this costume had fit, I would have given it 4 stars perhaps. It is possible that this costume would fit someone with narrow hips and a large chest. If that's you, this might be worth a try. It is important for a company to have accurate and consistent sizing and this is why I maintain the 3 star rating.

Follow-up commentary

I had a friend snatch this up for next years Halloween. It fits her much better since she is less curvy. She plans to wear legging under neath since the skirt still is WAY too short. I couldn't find any practical use for it in my lingerie collection.
