Thanks For Pointing That Out
If you aren't size small, don't bother with this. It is not flattering in the least bit on anyone larger than that. For the amount of fabric you get, it definitely is not worth $35.

Pros
Pretty glittery stars.
Cons
Overpriced, rough elastic, poor design.
I definitely have to say right off the bat that I was extremely disappointed in this set. I thought it looked fine on the model, but when I tried it on, I had to hold back on bursting into tears. I have been working on losing weight, both by eating healthy and working out. I have lost some, and was hoping I would look good in something like this, but I still looked like a whale in a rubber band covered with a few strips of tissue paper. Even my boyfriend, who constantly says I am gorgeous, was a little horrified at what this did to me.
Other lingerie I have tried accents what I have and helps kind of hide some of my fat. This did the exact opposite. They must make the fabric they use the same size regardless of the clothing size that they are sewing the strips to. The model in the picture looked pretty well covered, but I had barely anything on.
The fabric is pretty, a see-through black chiffon with little glittery stars all over it. It is kind of rough, even after hand washing it and soaking it in some liquid fabric softener. The elastic part that the fabric is attached to is pretty uncomfortable. It hurt a bit when it rubbed under my arms and breasts when I was putting it on. The underwear ground in pretty uncomfortably too.
I would recommend hand washing this set, since it is pretty delicate, and a machine may cause the glitter to come off.
Putting this thing on was quite difficult. Because the halter top ties, when you get it on without it tied, or held out, it all looks the same. I noticed some of the pieces would just roll up under the elastic and become a hopeless mess to figure out. Those were especially not fun in the back, since I had to rely on the mirror to get them fixed. I eventually just had to have my boyfriend help me get this on, so it wasn’t really much fun for him. He already saw me in it, so there was no surprise waiting for him in a dark bedroom.
I didn’t actually wear this for much more than 5 minutes. Just long enough to become saddened and feel like an absolute fatty. It takes a lot for me to feel bad about my appearance, too.
Overall, I could recommend this if you are around the same size as the model, who is probably size small. Any one larger than that, don’t bother. This set is made of too cheap, uncomfortable fabric to really even be worth $20, let alone $35.

Follow-up commentary

After losing probably around 30 pounds or so since last wearing this set, I tried it out again. I still hate it, for the same reason I hated it before. The four sections of fabric that hang down seem to just accentuate the parts of my body that still have a good amount of fat on them. The chest piece does not fit at all anymore, regardless of how tight I tie the halter top. It just does not seem to actually fit my chest correctly, which really isn't a complaint, since I have lost weight. However, the rest of the set doesn't seem baggy at all.
I love this material, a soft black with glitter on the outside of it. I would definitely try a different lingerie set with this material. This cut just does not feel flattering at all. So, back into the depths of my closet, it goes.

Nice review!
As for the size, I ordered size Large. My waist measures approximately 30 inches, under my bust is 35 inches, over my breasts is 39 inches, and my hips are about 41 at their widest. Compared to their size chart, I should have fit into the size Large with a bit of room to spare.
It is a shame this did not work for you.
