I have been waiting and waiting for the opportunity to order a corset. I had my reservations because I am not an "average" sized girl. I have large breasts, a small natural waist, and wide hips - hour glass figure to the maximum. I had been reading reviews on this wonderful corset for a while and read that most had issues with it being too large on their smaller boobs. I was ecstatic. I am sorry that it did not work on the smaller boobs, but maybe, just maybe, this one would be a home run for my 38 DDD's. It was!

I always love getting a new package when my partner is home because I make her guess until she gets it right. This time she guessed it the first try. She knew how much I had been wanting this one. She was so excited to see this beautiful corset.

I will start from package arrival. I ordered the purple corset in a size 38. The corset came in a plastic bag on a plastic hanger. There is a brand tag on the left side, by the zipper. It was pretty standard shipping for Eden, always early or on time as usual.

The corset is made out of polyester and has plastic boning. The purple shade of the garment is true to the shade from the picture on the website. I did not have any issues with the boning poking me or anything. The lace up string looks like the string used to lace up football shoulder pads. It is not very pretty, but it works well. My plan is to get some beautiful satin ribbon and replace it for the next time I wear it. I'll tell you in the follow up!

I store the corset in the top drawer of my dresser with all of my lingerie accessories. I fold it up and wrap the strings around it to keep it neat. I have not needed to clean it yet. When it is time for cleaning, I will not put it in the washer. I will use a clean towel and spot clean it as needed. I do not think it is a good idea to put it in the washer or dryer. I feel that would damage the boning and make the strings get tangled.

I have had this corset for a while, and had tried to wear it by putting it on alone - a frustrating task indeed. I tried to have my fiance help me lace it up. She has no idea what she is doing with a corset...so NO LUCK!

Finally, there was a themed party at our local club that we wanted to go to, so I had a friend who wears corsets come over to help me get into it. It does not take too long to lace up, and with the zipper and laces, it really fit me well. I have DDD's, so I ordered the largest size offered, the 38, and I was able to cinch it to be just the right size. It felt fantastic. It was the perfect size.

The only issue was that it does not feel nice against your skin. It can get hot quickly, so I put a shirt under it. I went out and bought a Victorian style, sheer, white, button down shirt to wear under, and it was perfect.

I wore the corset for a few hours, and it took some getting used to at first, since it was my first time. After that(and a few drinks), I felt sexy and was having a great time. After dancing and mingling for a few hours, though, it did get to be warm, so I took it off towards the end of the night.

I love this corset. I want it in every color.

Tesa's Sweetheart corset is still one of my favorite pieces in my lingerie collection. I have recently worn it out again and received compliments from several people. Some of my friends are interested in getting one, and I am interested in getting one in each color!

I have wiped it with a damp cloth to clean it and there are no stains or issues with the fabric or color. After replacing the string with a silk ribbon, I noticed that it gets loose more quickly, so I swapped it back for the string that it came with.

Otherwise, I have no complaints and am completely satisfied with this beautiful purple corset!
