I got this costume a while back because I had a spare gift card and it never hurts to have a spare costume in the wardrobe. With Halloween and role-playing ;) I figured why not. It seemed really cute and I figured with the right accessories it would be drop dead and all sizzle. Well I have to admit when it first arrived I was a tad disappointed... the yellow of the costume almost seemed faded, and considering the yellow was not all that vibrant in the picture it was definately on the dull side. The material is polyester I believe and even though it felt a little stiff initially was really nice after a wash. It wasn't itchy at all and the material breathes well.

I know it says that the dress is short, but prepare yourself... the dress is REALLY short! It didn't even cover my bottom... not even mostly... And if you think about bending over its as if you are wearing a shirt. Which is fine if you are wearing it for your partner and they so happen to be a rear loving type of guy. Another thing that you need to know... the material is very thin so if you are particularly busty (I'm a 38/40 DD) the top may appear to be slightly see through. Which again probably isn't an issue in the privacy of your own home, but if you were thinking of wearing it to a costume party you may want to rethink that decision unless of course you either put something on underneath or are comfortable with both ends hanging out in the open.

I've worn the costume roughly a dozen times and even though its very lightly colored it still comes clean and looks as good as the day I got it. I was concerned that since the material was so light and thin the apron would do that rolling thing that tends to happen to cheaper material, but so far I'm pleasantly surprised.

This outfit is cute no doubt, but not really sexy... I recommend some thigh highs, sexy heels, and lace gloves.
