Shrug

The shrug is my favorite part of the costume. It has great detail on the shoulders and is held in place by a small clasp. The clasp is a bit finicky, but this is a very minor issue. I love shrugs in general and this one is super cute. The sleeves were large enough to accommodate my arms. Many shrugs in the world are tight on my arms so this is a huge plus. I also love that this shrug goes all the way down in the back and has tails. It is simply adorable!


Belt

The gold belt has cheap construction, however it still looks cute. I hope that different sizes come with different sized belts. I am unable to wear the belt right at my waist, as the velcro closure allows only a few inches of adjustment. Personally, I find mine a bit loose. The belt is 37.5 inches long and can only be adjusted down to about 33 inches long. My waist is currently at about 31 inches. I would say a medium would suit me better, however, the length of the teddy then would be more of an issue.

Teddy

When I first bought this teddy, I was stuck between a large and an x-large. The teddy was supper cute, and even though it didn't fit properly, I wanted to keep it. Since buying it, I have lost some weight. I am now probably between a medium and large in size and it now fits much better. However, it is still a little short in the torso. To fit comfortably on my bottom, it barely covers my breasts. I was hoping that I could wear it to sit next to the pool, but it is a bit too much cleavage for that. I would recommend this to shorter girls, unless you are planning on just using it in the bedroom.

I really like the button detail, however, because it is short in the torso, two buttons get covered up when I put on the belt. Because of this, I often wear it without the belt, as I prefer the buttons more than the belt. The pockets are just sewn on, which makes sense. You don't want to actually use pockets on a skin tight outfit. They add a cute touch, but I would be a sucker for this if it had a real pocket; I love pockets in anything. Regardless, it is still very cute.

I will note that I have used the word 'cute' quite a bit, and even the word 'adorable'. One word missing is, though, and that is 'sexy'. I don't see this as a great bedroom piece for me, unless we are specifically doing a nautical role play. I just don't feel very sexy in it.
