Subtle, Sweet, and Almost There!
Coquette got about 80% of the way there on this one! The color, cut, and fabric are all very nice. The fit and overall look is even pretty good. They just fell a bit short of the support part, offering an underwire, but no band and thin, flimsy straps.

Cons
Not much support
I love the vibrant color of this chemise from Coquette's Spring/Summer collection. As a side note, a percentage of the proceeds of all purchases from this line will be donated to the Save the Ta-Tas campaign which supports breast cancer research.
Packaging
The chemise was mailed in a simple plastic bag. The attached tags show a picture of the chemise on a model, and then another tag that advertises the Save the Ta-Tas campaign.
Material and Care
I opened the packaging to find that the color in person is as vibrant as in the pictures. There is a slight color discrepancy between the lace (sapphire blue) and the solid fabric and ribbon (sea green). I might not have noticed under normal bedroom-wear situations, but in the bright light for photographing it, it was pretty obvious and cheapened the look a bit.
The label sais the garment is 90% Nylon and 10% Spandex. It advises to hand wash only, and hang dry. The chemise is made in China.
Fit and Sizing
I am a size 12-14, XL, 38H. I picked the XL to try out. My normal concern with buying lingerie or any clothing online is that I don't want to look like a lumpy sausage forced into a too-tight casing. I also am pretty top-heavy, and so I look for lingerie with good support. I had a baby last year, so my tummy area is also a bit of a trouble spot.
With those concerns in mind, here is what I thought of the chemise: The chemise has a simple design- a scalloped lace band at the bottom, midsection, and scalloped lace on top. It has underwire on top, which was a nice surprise. The cups are a sheer lace, so there is no padding there. The straps are spaghetti-thin, and while adjustable, will offer very little by way of support or lift. In addition, there is no band that clasps in the back, so basically wherever your lovely breasties sit when fully exposed to gravilty's pull is where they will be when you're wearing this little number. For me, that is not the most attractive look, so I would only wear this chemise with a bra underneath. Even with the sheer cups, this is not too bad of a look, especially with a black sexy number.
I mentioned that the tummy is a trouble area for me, so I normally stick to light floaty babydoll styles. The lace banding around the center draws attention to the tummy, but the fabric was a good combination of stretchy and tight so it held things in nicely and actually looked pretty good. No sausage effect, thank goodness!
The length was perfect; it hit me several inches below down my thigh (right where it hits the model in the picture).
All in all, this chemise had a nice color and was comfortable, but busty ladies beware: this won't give the support you're after without having to layer over a bra.
