I ordered these Leg Avenue thigh high stockings in the ever present "one size fits most". I am 5'3" tall with short, thin legs and thighs. With that on my CV, I was expecting these to fit nicely. They did not. I pulled them to about 5" above my knee, which left a good 10" to reach the top of my thigh. The ruffle, which is about 2.5" wide is sewn on an elasticized band that is about 1" wide. Beneath the ruffle is a 3" strip of opaque nylon. Leg Avenue describes the top as designed to look like leg garters. The top stayed in place and did not roll until I started showing off for my husband. That was when they started to slip. They ended up being caught on my knee cap and that is where they stayed.

In their favor, these stockings were comfortable. As I said, the band did roll after I started dancing around my husband, but it did not bind at all. Of course, they looked silly as almost knee socks. In my very humble opinion, thigh highs should sit at least 10" (or 3/4 of the length between your knee cap and the top of your thigh) to look sexy. These were short by 5" and, especially with that silly ruffle, looked rather school girlish--school girl like pre-teen. Please don't go there.

They ARE well made at the top with a sheer black nylon stocking attached. They are 90% nylon and 10% spandex, with (I am sure) the spandex pretty much in the elastic band that is supposed to hold these stockings up. The stocking is a very lightweight, sheer nylon and I do not think they will last very long before snagging and running.

For the unenlightened, these stockings came packaged the same as all of Leg Avenue stockings: folded flat and wrapped on a piece of thin cardboard. The insert is pink and white stripes with the words Leg Avenue in black. The washing instructions are to hand wash and lay flat to dry. I'm not even sure I'll wash these.

These just looked silly on me. My husband loves when I dress up and dance for him. He also loves when I undress and dance for him. When I wore these, I wore a pair of black, lacy panties and a matching bra. They were very sexy but with the ruffled stockings even they looked silly.

These still look little girlish, so if your thing is pre-teen (but post teen women, please) you will want to see these on your partner. Or, if you are into clown sex, they will be for you!! Enjoy!!!
