Spicy Babydoll And G-String (OS) Review
This cute black and purple babydoll is adorable in theory, but the execution was poor. Seven 'Til Midnight seems to have the dropped the ball, both on design and quality -- but perhaps I've just had some rotten luck.
If you're petite with small breasts, this might work for you. Based on the quality though? I can't say that I would recommend it to anyone.

Pros
Cute concept
Cons
Ties don't untie, Loose threads, Ribbons fraying, Won't Fit Most, No Bust Support
When I ask my guy what sort of lingerie he prefers to see, he typically says that he loves easily opened pieces. Me, I prefer something that provides me with a hint of coverage. When I saw this item, I thought I had found something that would impress us both. Sadly, however, this piece left us both feeling frustrated (and not in a good way).
Before I get into that.... let me tell you a little about the item.
The Basics:
This babydoll is brought to us by Seven 'Till Midnight. I typically have great luck with Seven 'Til Midnight products, and I had hoped that that luck would continue with this cute set.. Sadly it did not.
This set includes two pieces; the babydoll, and the matching g-string. The babydoll is advertised as having an open front, but that's not completely true.
Material and Care:
Both pieces of this set are made out of 90% polyester and 10% spandex.
This set is primarily black with purple polka dots. It is also made entirely of mesh, with the exception of the ribbon accents. Being mesh, the material is sheer; it won't hide your secrets at all. For me, the sheerness of this set isn't a huge deal -- after all, I only intended to wear this set for my lover.
As for stretch? The mesh on the babydoll is stretchy, but the ribbon sort of hinders that stretch. This is because the ribbon is not stretchy at all. Due to the ribbon, this piece will not fit most as it advertises.
The included g-string matches the babydoll almost exactly, except there is no ribbon on the thong.
The attached tag recommends that hand washing this in cold water, and then allowing it to line dry. You should not bleach or iron this set. I typically disregard care instructions and throw most of my lingerie in the wash on the delicate cycle, but with this one? I feel like even the delicate cycle would completely ruin it, as it's not in great condition as is.
Sizing:
This item is available in two sizes; one size fits most, and plus size. Looking at the size chart, I should fit in the one size fits most -- but it's not comfortable.
The one size should fit someone with the following measurements:
Cups: A-D
Bust: 32-38"
Waist: 24-32"
Hips: 34-40"
I wear a large C/small D cup, and have a 32" waist. My hips are 40". Okay, so I'm obviously on the upper end of the size chart, but usually one size fits most works out okay for me.
Over all, this does fit my waist and hips okay. The trouble is my breasts -- it's difficult to slip this piece over my head as the ribbons don't stretch. I find that I really have to squeeze my breasts into it, to the point that it's sort of painful. Getting this item off is a challenge for the same reason.
The included thong fits on my 40" hips, but it cuts into my skin in a way that is both unattractive and uncomfortable.
I took the following measurements with the pieces laying flat:
Thong across waistband: 14" unstretched, 19" stretched.
Thong triangle measures 5" across the top, and 6" up each side.
Pantyliner on thong is about 3" long and 2" wide at the widest point.
Underbust portion on babydoll measures about 13" unstretched.
All ribbons on this set are about 1" thick.
All in all... the sizing was a flop for me. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with larger than a small C cup, and even that may be pushing it. This is definitely a set that is meant to flatter the petite.

Experience
Design:
The product page for this item indicates that it has an "open front". The package states that the babydoll has "front ties", which implies that it actually ties shut. This is a bit of false advertising, as the baby doll doesn't actually tie. The "ties" on this set are sewn, and there is absolutely no way to undo them.
The babydoll is halter neck style. A piece of ribbon accounts for the halter neck, but don't think that it ties in the back -- it doesn't. The halter neck strap is already sewn in. The ends of the halter extends so that it ties in the front. I had a bit of trouble getting the tie around the neck to look right. No matter how I tied it, it seemed to look cheap, and if I didn't tie it, the ends just hung loose in an odd manner.
As for bust support? There isn't really any support. There is no underwire, and the material is very thin. I guess that the ribbon is supposed to provide some support, but it just didn't work for me.
The neck tie is the only tie that actually ties. The other ties are not ties at all; they are simply little strips of ribbon that have been sewn to hold the babydoll shut. The bows? They're simply sewn on to the little bits of ribbon.
I would've liked it much better if the ties actually tied, like they were advertised to. It would've made the piece much easier to get into. As it is, with the ribbon being as it is... this just won't fit many people properly.
Packaging:
This comes packaged in a sort of cardboard envelope. The packaging features a photograph of the model on both the front and back. There is minimal information on the packaging.
Quality:
The mesh on this set does feel like it's durable, but the ribbon accents are just incredibly cheap. The ends of the ribbon were fraying horribly right out of the package. I'm not talking about juts one end fraying; it's EACH and EVERY end that is fraying beyond repair. It's so bad that I feel a bit disgusted at the quality.
On top of that, I also noticed multiple loose threads.
All in all, I am giving this a 1. It's a cute concept, but the design is terrible, the quality is cheap, and this certainly won't fit most.

Follow-up commentary
1 day after original review
After much consideration, I have decided to return this.
I could figure out a way to make the poor design work, but with the quality being so poor... I just don't think it's worth the price.
