Something blue garter made me blue...
Not worth spending money on. Can literally find a better one at the dollar store. It was not even blue and feathers kept coming out.

not blue, cheap looking, feathers kept falling out
Being a woman who loves weddings and everything that goes along with them, I was ecstatic to get the opportunity to review the Something Blue Sexy Garter. It arrived in packaging similar to that of expensive nylons and had a beautiful model on the front modeling the blue garter.
I took it out of the plastic container and was immediately disappointed. My something blue was an ugly shade of sea foam green! Not only was the color wrong, but the overall quality of the garter was disappointing. It looked cheap, the feathers attached to the bow were constantly falling out and the material had a similar feeling to fine sandpaper.
The fact that it was green irritates me the most. It wasn't even like a turquoise color that could be mistaken for a shade of blue. You would have to be color blind to think that the sea foam color was blue. In my opinion, the overall design of the garter was very pretty. I like the idea of simplicity; ruffle with a cute bow accented with a bit of fluff! Who wouldn't love that, right? If they got the color right, and made it with quality materials, I would definitely recommend it to people I know. At its current state, I wouldn't use it as a dog collar.
Overall, it isn't worth spending money on. If I order a Something B garter intended to be blue I don't want it coming in green. I am just happy I wasn't planning on using it in my wedding, or I would be severely angered. If you were considering purchasing this Something Blue Sexy Garter, please reconsider. I'd hate for you to be as disappointed as I was.
**I know that I am rambling, but reviews HAVE to be 300 words, and it is awfully hard to write 300 words on a garter that isn't worth 10.**

Follow-up commentary
1 month after original review
I pulled this out of the back of my closet for this follow up, hoping my eye sight had changed and it was blue. *sigh* it wasn't. Still sea foam green. Back to the closet it goes!

Thank you for viewing Something blue sexy garter review page!
Green is actually my favorite color, but I was expecting my Something Blue garter to be blue haha
While you clearly were disappointed with this one, I felt your review could have had a bit more info on materials used, how you are intended to care (wash) it, etc.
All the same, I'm not sure I would write much more about a seafoam green garter that would barely live long enough as a cat toy
