So Very Beautiful!
I seriously love this corset. I loved it when I seen the stock photo, but it's much nicer in real life. You can't see all the beautiful colours of the corset in the stock photo; turquoise, gold, and purple. The lace back allows for sizing adjustments, and can be tightened to "suck" everything in. My partner said it's his favourite corset on me, and I think it just be my new favourite too!

Pros
beautiful, lace back, zip-front, comfortable, inexpensive, does slim a bit.
Cons
not available in larger sizes
The Turquoise Front Zip Corset by Escante is a beautiful corset that can be worn both in and out of the bedroom. The corset is available in sizes 32-38. I purchased the size 38.
The corset arrived in a clear plastic bag. The only thing on the bag was a sticker in the right hand corner with a barcode and the size. I don’t find the bag good for storing the corset when it’s not being worn. I prefer to hang my corsets up in my closet. Attached to the corset were two cardboard tags. The first tag had a photo of a model wearing a corset (not the corset that I received) and states the company name. The second tag is the instructions on how to wear the corset. Even though I don’t need the instructions, I thought it was a nice addition, especially for those who may have never worn a corset before. You can see the tag below.
The corset is 100% polyester (exclusive of decoration). There is no stretch to the material. Though, the corset laces up the back with 2 long strings so these can be tightened/loosened for size adjustment.
I’ve taken measurements of the corset lying flat, and the measurements were taken with the lace tied up as tightly as they could (so there was no gap in the back showing skin). There is approximately 32 inches of extra string (similar to shoe lace) that you can use to widen the corset. If you need additional measurements, please send me a message and I can get them for you.
Length of corset (armpit to bottom of corset): 12 ¾ inches
Length of back of corset (down centre back): 11 ¾ inches
Chest (armpit to armpit): 18 inches
Width of centre of corset: 15 ½ inches
Width of bottom of corset: 18 inches
The piece has a beautiful floral/swirl pattern on it. In the stock photo, the colours look dull and you cannot really see how much gold and purple there really is. Actually, in the stock photo you can’t tell there is any purple at all. Usually it bothers me that a stock photo doesn’t show the piece for what it truly looks like, but in this case, I’m happier with the way it looks in real life compared to the photo.
The corset does up with a black zipper down the centre front of the corset. The zipper is well hidden by a flap of fabric that looks like one of the boning covers. There are 12 plastic boning pieces in the corset; 6 in the front, 4 in the back, and 1 on each side of the corset. The corset is strapless, and does not have loopholes inside of the corset to attach your own. There are also no garter loops.
The lacing in the back is done up with what reminds me of shoelaces. It holds a knot well, but I don’t find it very attractive. It’s not terribly ugly, but I may replace the lace with a long piece of black ribbon instead.
There is no designated area for your chest (cups). There is no underwire or padding where your chest sits in the corset, though the material is rather thick so you do not need to wear a bra with the piece (erect nipples do not seem to show through the fabric).
The tag that came attached to the corset had instructions on how to wear the corset. For those who are interested:
1. Loosen lacing in back of corset
2. Unzip front of corset
3. Put on corset
4. Pull lacing until fitted (or get help for an even tighter fit)
I’m not sure how you’re supposed to do step number four without the help of somebody, but I usually do it the lazy one-person way. I loosen the lacing a bit and see of the corset can be zipped up on my body. If it can, then I tie a bow in the back with the lace and put the corset on. If I still need more width, I loosen the lace a tad bit more, try it on again, and if necessary, repeat. It usually looks fine when I do it this way, but having someone help you is probably the best way to have it looking perfect.
The corset material did not bother or irritate my skin while I was wearing it. It’s actually very comfortable compared to some of the other corsets I own because there are no ruffles under the armpits, or elastic bands making things look awkward. It’s simple, but beautiful.

Experience
..continued
The care tag states that the corset should be hand washed separately in cold water with a mild soap, and drip-dried. It also states to not use chlorine on the product, do not wring or twist the corset, do not iron, and do not dry clean.
Overall, I’m ridiculously happy with this purchase. The corset is much more beautiful in person than in the stock photo. I love that it’s comfortable because I had purchased it with the intent to wear it out in public for longer periods of time. My partner really loves it on me and says it is his favourite corset on me so far. He really likes that it makes my C cup chest look much larger than it is (and I like it too)!
This corset has more of a slimming effect than others I have tried. While the boning is plastic, the lace back lets you tighten it as much as you’d like and sort of “sucks” everything in. Being a size XL, I always appreciate that extra help.
I found the sides of the corset a little shorter than I would like. You’ll be able to see in the photos of me wearing it below, that you can see my hip chub because the corset doesn’t have the length on the sides.
This corset receives a 5 out of 5 stars from me. If it came in different colours, I’d have to collect them all. The corset is an amazing price, and absolutely beautiful. The only con I can really think of is that it is not available in larger sizes.

Follow-up commentary
12 months after original review
Another item with a life that ended too soon (aka: discontinued). The turquoise front-zip corset is still as gorgeous as the day I had received it. I've gained a little bit of weight since the original review and it still looks nice on me. It was an excellent price, and all of the review ratings sat at a 4 or 5 out of 5. I'm surprised this has been discontinued. It's still one of my favourite corsets.

Darn, this is so pretty & never to be brought back! Loved the pix along with the review, it helps a lot to see it on someone! Thanks for a great review.

I still love this corset, as a matter of fact have changed the laces to black silk cord for more length for self lacing.
