Slip Into This!
I can't decide if this chemise was flattering or not - it flattens the stomach but draws attention to the waist/hips. I liked the underwire cups but not the semi-sheer fabric on them. In white, it looks just too bridal for me to want to wear it often. If you're looking for a basic piece with some nice features and think the way it fits would flatter you, this should be a must-buy for you. I liked it, I just would have liked it more in another color (and with better matching underwear).

Having never ordered lingerie from Edenfantasys before, I was excited to get some for my latest review assignment! Bear in mind, then, that I am not a hugely experienced lingerie wearer: I don't have much fodder for comparison, so I am just presenting my own reaction to this item.
This lingerie set is made up of two pieces: a chemise and matching underwear (EF lists it as a thong, to me it seems more like a g-string). It arrived folded up and packaged in a plastic wrapper.
This exact set is made in 5 colors total by DreamGirl- this is the white version. If I had had the option, I would have gotten it in another color: the white seems just too bridal to me. If that's the look you're going for, however, this should be a hit!
The chemise is made of nylon and spandex. The fabric is nice and cool and feels stretchy. I am very picky about fabrics (I can't stand polyester) and I LOVED the feel of this. The top and bottom is trimmed in lace which, while not itchy, was a detail I would have been happier without. A few (not many) sections of lace looked a little frayed, which is probably due to the designs in the lace itself, and it cheapened the look of the chemise overall, in my opinion. The chemise has almost a shimmery sheen to it, but is not exactly see-through. The fabric is sort of "paneled" and this makes a very sharp indication of where your hips/waist "should" be. As a result, your middle can look a bit wider than it normally would. However, the material has a smoothing effect on the stomach.
I'm 5'3" and the bottom of the chemise hit right under my bottom, a little higher than mid-thigh. The bottom of the chemise has removable straps for stockings/garters - these were super easy to detach and re-attach. I did not try this on with stockings for the simple reason that I don't have any! As a result, I cannot speak to the effectiveness of the garter straps at holding up hosiery.
As for the bust area, I really liked the fact that cups had underwire support. I'm a 34 C, so I can do without for nightwear if I have to, but I did appreciate it. That being said, the support was flimsy at best. I'm not sure how larger-bosomed ladies would feel about this piece. Part of the cups had that semi-sheer effect because of the paneling, which resulted in some nipple visibility. That being said, this is lingerie, so you might not mind that.
Also, the shoulder straps are adjustable, which allows you to play with the fit of the top part a little.
The chemise is closed like a corset with hooks. This is actually totally unnecessary and rather cumbersome: I was able to just pull the whole thing off over my head without bothering with unhooking them all. There are quite a few rows of hooks, which can be fun if you are having someone else unhook you.
There's a bit of an awkward slit in the back, right under where the hooks stop - on me, it fell right between my butt cheeks. It made me a little uncomfortable, but you might not mind it.
Finally, the included g-string ("thong"- whatever!) is a JOKE. You might as well just stick a piece of ribbon up your bottom and be done with it.
It's unflattering, uncomfortable, and the material (unlike on the chemise) feels cheap. This went right into the trash. Take my advice: either substitute a piece of white underwear from your pre-existing collection or go without.

Experience
I am right between a Small and a Medium on the size chart and I'm glad I went with the Medium. While the chemise is not constricting or tight, it is clingy. If it is already on the smaller side for you, it will have a smushing effect. Having a bit of extra room made me feel less self-conscious while wearing this.
Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
I've worn this slip maybe once more since I tried it on for my original review. I just cannot stand how the white fabric looks; I might have loved this in another color, but it is just too bridal and makes me look too washed out for me to even like this in white.
