Sizing troubles!
I really, really wanted to like these shorts. Too bad the fabric is flimsy and the cut and styling are all wrong. Lingerie manufacturers need to realize that you can't just take standard size lingerie and blow it up to make plus-sized things, in most cases. Even on two very different body types, these shorts were a fail.

Pros
Sexy "wet look" fabric
Cons
Strange cut and fit on different body types, flimsy material
I was really excited when I found out that a friend of mine got these and they didn't fit her (slightly sadistic, yes?) and she offered them to me if I liked them. These shorts are no doubt sexy; I'm really into things that have the "wet look" about them. It's too bad, though, for these shorts. My friend and I could not be built more differently; she's about 6 inches shorter than me, and over-all hourglass shaped. She's got a 'donk, for sure. These shorts fit her in the ass, but didn't compliment much else, she felt. I, on the other hand, am tall, at almost 5'11", broad chested, have no ass and long legs. Strangely enough, these shorts kind-of fit in the ass... a little saggy, but this is a consistent problem that I have. What I didn't like was the length on them. They were an odd length and didn't cover my belly like I needed them to. The rise on them didn't fit well on either of us, and that's saying a lot considering that we're so differently shaped.
Some lingerie just does not translate into plus-size by blowing it up. In fact, most of it doesn't translate that way at all. Lingerie that uses that model doesn't take into account different rolls, bumps, and flesh. And don't get me wrong, I love love love my flesh, but I want it to look good and sexy and flattered. These just did not do that for me or my friend.
Perhaps if these shorts were made with a higher lycra content fabric, they'd feel more flattering. Or if they were cut differently. Or maybe if they weren't made as a "one size fits most" plus-size. Oh, hell. Can I just re-make these suckers? I want them to be cute so badly! Too bad.
