(Size Large) Blue Royale is a Battle Royale in My Pants!
Battle Royale boyshorts look great and are very comfortable, if you can ignore a scratchy care tag, a misplaced panty liner, and the feeling that they may be sagging a bit in the rear.
Published:
Pros
Pretty color and lace pattern, Comfortable
Cons
Panty liner is misplaced, May run a little small, Scratchy care tag
In case you were wondering, Seven 'till Midnight's Blue Royale boyshorts DO NOT come with the peacock feather shown in the description page picture. I just thought I would clear that up for you upfront, so you won't be persuaded to purchase these based on the belief that you would also be getting a feather like the one that the model is holding. If you really want a peacock feather, you actually can buy them online for about the price of this pair of boyshorts. It might be a better deal, really.
Sizing
These boyshorts are available in sizes small through 3X/4X. Unfortunately, Seven 'till Midnight's size chart is unavailable on EF's website. However, their size chart may be found online (Don't you just love Google?), and for the hip size, they are as follows:
(In inches)
Small - 34-36
Medium - 36-38
Large - 38-40
XL - 40-42
1X/2X - 42-48
3X/4X - 50-56
(I suppose this means that if you have hips measuring 49 inches, you are out of luck.)
Material/Design
According to the 3 1/2" long, hot pink care tag in the back of these boyshorts, they are made of 92% polyester and 8% spandex. This allows for a bit of stretch, creating a very comfortable garment that conforms to fit the wearer's curves. If you like how the boyshorts look in the pictures on the description page, then you will not be disappointed by the appearance of the item when it arrives. They are exactly as presented in their pictures. The front of the item features shiny, black material which will cover both hip bones, and a center panel of gorgeous, electric (or royal) blue lace with a rose design. The lace extends down the front of the garment, and up the back, making a "heart" pattern where it meets the black material (about 3" from the top of the boyshorts). The length of the leg section on the front is 4" at its longest, and 3 3/4" at its shortest. In the back, it is about an inch longer. The boyshorts do include a 4 1/2" cotton panty liner.

Packaging
The boyshorts arrived in a simple, Ziploc-style plastic bag. A Seven 'till Midnight logo tag was attached to the product.
Care Instructions
The 3 1/2" long, hot pink care tag says that the garment should be hand washed in cold water and line dried. It discourages bleaching or ironing the product. Personally, I tossed the boyshorts into the washer with similar colors and washed them on a delicate cycle. I'm a rebel like that.

Experience
According to the Seven 'till Midnight size chart, I am borderline large/XL, but in panties, I usually go with a large, as I did for this purchase. In retrospect, perhaps I should have ordered a size up, as these seem to sag a little low in the back, exposing a hint of intergluteal cleft (a nicer way to say that they show a little bit of butt crack). I felt the constant need to be pulling up my undies. I had my own personal game of "tug of war" going all day long. Perhaps this would not have been the case in an XL, though I do suspect that it may be indicative of a design flaw of the garment itself.
Aside from that bit of southern exposure, these boyshorts fit me well. The material is very comfortable. The lace is not scratchy in the least. The hot pink care tag, on the other hand, is extremely scratchy, and will definitely need to be removed.
The panty liner on this pair is set back too far to be of any service to me. I would say it is at least 2" off from where it should have been.
I might be willing to give Blue Royale another try in an XL, just to see if the problems I had with this pair are characteristic of the product. Then again, maybe I should just buy some peacock feathers.

Follow-up commentary
25 days after original review
There is no way that these are going to improve with time. The panty liner will not magically move to the proper position. The sag will not go away. These will probably end up being tossed out sooner or later.
