Shiny black material, yum yum!
This is a nice addition, but it really can't be used with any of the other current black wet look pieces we have. It might go better with a black wet look corset or bustier, but it won't work with the stockings. And my wife doesn't seem to like it as much as I do, or even the stockings, so it isn't a total success for us.

Pros
Short, black, and shiny. What a combo!
Cons
Doesn't match vinyl items, wrinkles easy.
Intro
Ever since the first wet look piece came onto Eden, I have been a like a moth to a bright light at night. I want to circle the item, check it out, and then get even closer. I love the wet look pieces, along with anything black and shiny. Leather, vinyl, latex, wet look, I love them all. Catwoman as a kid, rawr! It first started with the wet look stockings and booty shorts months and months ago. After seeing some reviews for those items, I snatched them up. And my wife decently liked them, so I looked into what other items Coquette offered in wet look. And there were numerous options. But unfortunately, Eden didn't carry many of them. Then eventually this skirt was offered, and I thought it would look great with her black vinyl corset. So I snatched these up before any reviews were published.
In Use
The other night she wore this with her black vinyl corset, and she looked great in it. A perfect dominatrix look to her. But because of the wet look material, it wasn't as shiny as the corset, so I think it is best to wear the wet look pieces with other wet look pieces, or at least stay away from vinyl. The skirt was also short enough where she was easily able to mount me without having to worry about moving the skirt out of the way. It never bothered my skin once.
Sizing and Fit
The sizes offered by Coquette for this skirt are S-XL, and 1X/2X. So a pretty nice range of sizes. Since I had already purchased a few small wet look pieces from Coquette for my wife, I ordered the small for her. Once out of the plastic and on the hanger, it looked really small. But my wife fit in the wet look booty shorts just fine in small. Luckily, they easily slid up and fit perfectly on her. The skirt is 12 inches wide across the top, and it is also a very short skirt at about 10 inches in length, but no complaints here. Less material to hike up for access to her crotch, and since this is probably going to be a private piece anyways, no worries about too much public exposure.
My wife is a size 4-6, with a 28 inch waist, and 38 inch hips, and she weighs about 130 lbs. I don't think she had to stretch the skirt to fit her, so anyone smaller than these measurements might not fit in the S properly. Coquette says the S should fit someone in the 4-6 range, with a 26-28 inch waist, and 36-38 inch hips.
Packaging
The black wet look skirt came in a sealed plastic bag, which was hanging from a plastic hanger. There was a small tag attached to it, with a photo of the black skirt and bustier, with a rear photo of the red skirt and corset. And on the back was the red skirt and a red corset.
Care and Maintenance
The skirt is made out of 80% Nylon and 20% spandex, not including the trim. On the tag attached with a safety pin, there were 6 symbols. I took these to mean hand wash, no machine wash, no iron, no dryer, and I believe 2 recycling symbols. If I remember correctly, we placed this in our wash machine on a hand wash cycle, then hung it up to dry on a drying rack afterwards.

Follow-up commentary
7 months after original review
I still like this skirt, but I think I have been buying too many lingerie pieces for my wife recently (crazy I know), and too many non-girly pieces, like the wet look items. The skirt is nice, a good length and fit, but it only really matches the other wet look pieces. Its a decent alternative to latex and leather, but I would rather save up for the real deal. My love of wet look pieces is starting to fade.
